[Eye protection, thoughts greatly appreciated]

Each have their own advantages and disadvantages:

 

mesh - no fog and decent level of protection but if someone is using a lower quality / older bb, there is a chance that on impact they will shatter and send shards of plastic towards your eyes ( talking from experience)

 

glasses - less fog than full seal and more protective front on than mesh but risk of BBs getting in from the sides. 
also, I’ve seen plenty of people forget to put them back on before heading into the game zone - very dangerous.

 

full seal - best protection all round, high risk of fog. But you’ll be fine if you use anti-fog and or get an ex-fog unit ( or as I describe it to my wife - my head mounted aircon unit haha)

 

 

regardless of which option you go for, but respectable brands which are rated for Airsoft use. I’ve seen cheap “Airsoft” glasses shatter.

This is my fear now about mesh. I sweat like a pig in a butchers, and nothing I've tried so far works to stop the fog Vs the mesh mask I use now.

I do worry about the BB shattering risk, but every type of sealed eye pro just fogs up and then it's game over after a few mins. How have you found the head mounted AC unit? 😁

Hello & welcome!! As has been said, a lot of us are old gits here and what is it with 'music' nowadays, it's all disposable throw-away rubbish that's got even less longevity than Liz Truss. What happened to bands who play actual instruments and write music? That said there's pockets of yoof who appreciate proper music, was very pleased to see some at a recent Smashing Pumpkins gig proper singing along to songs easily twice their age. Even the dance music in the 90's was better!

I quite liked 90s dance 😬🤣

But agreed some mod today's music is utter tripe. I'm getting the kids into Metallica to make up for it 👍

Morning, 

I'm an old, out of shape player that's just got back into Airsoft. I have a few guns from back when, sadly one which is a 90s gas gun didn't work after the first shot. But my newer ics mp5 still managed to last an entire game. I'm hoping to get it serviced soon as it was a bit low on the chrono.

Things have certainly changed from when my friends and I used to head into the local woods and just game there. 

Already reading up on an the helpful advice posted on here. Looking forward to me next game 👍
