Does anyone know if any of the more prolific types of charging handle fit or can be made to fit a PTW? Thinking either the MWS type or WE type?

I ordered something from their sale late weds night, it's arrived this morning. I used to think of them as expensive and having poor delivery times, they just beat every other reputable uk retailer by a good 24 hrs in my experience.

I use a safariland SLS holster for 226 with taclight on a duty ride belt platform. They're very expensive but occasionally come up on ebay etc second hand. Last for years though so a good investment. I've always found "airsoft" holsters to lack in durability and feel a little less secure. There's one here on Ebay currently. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156628492034?_skw=sig+p226+safariland&itmmeta=01JHX50T132VTSCC0SYDXPATYJ&hash=item2477c91f02:g:Z2YAAOSwTFVm0Oas&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnIU9S5WYqNsJL%2B2pg%2FcsQPjl9QiNg5c%2Fp3dw%2F7ab7%2BPsg4qFhUeujs%2BTIvlUH%2Ft8s4F1bVy86AFH84ZH2IDVHjWLWk4QFDHAD7OE5V9EfDJ8Em1pspaHPum4IIXqSq%2BRkwRm%2ByXfSb6IIlH0ocLJ%2BiVWDHFe0OVj%2BS8%2FTlHJpNsMCdK2ctxORxTSSdxSglDEkyDCBhKE8T4x9jsafHqJM4OL5IQZjtBJcyBd%2Bn4SSrPVTrvZZyD0l48Sz4iAy4FWc%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9Kgg6WPZQ -

Got mine, in good nick, lens needs a clean but nothing a bit of break free won't shift. Bargain of the year so far. -
Above option is the best if you can order the part. Also achievable by filing 08-20 I would caution though that parts like these are not designed to function with material removed, and I doubt that they have been case hardened or similar as they would be in a real one. So a real risk of breaking. But defo buy the part if available as this will retain value if you decide to ship on at some point.

Yeah looks like filing would work. If you could find an exploded diagram we might be able to work it out from that
-
If you are looking for a permanent mod then it should just be as simple as filing down a sear. Not seen inside one but they usually work on a very similar principle to real ones in that regard. Take off the lower and snap some photos and we might be able to tell.

What he said, I've shimmed many real steel sights using this method.

What's reasonable in the Ghillie/Leaf suit world?
Jefferson2000 replied to Asomodai's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Unfortunately the off the shelf solutions will never be as good as something made to suit the environment you find yourself in. The key is to use a base suited to the season and then add natural vegetation. Mine is built off the webtex jacket/cape base which has plenty of loops for natural vegetation. If you don't want to go down the line of making your own then get as neutral a base as possible and add elasticated loops. -
Help! Decent OD Plate Carriers / Armour for our team
Jefferson2000 replied to Herrgh's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
The Bulle gear from flecktarn is great, but they don't seem to have a plate carrier option currently. https://www.flecktarn.co.uk/solidcolours_olive.html If you want something "uniform" for you all then China might be the way to go. If you just want the same colours then I'd watch out for cheaper end second hand real kit coming up like WAS etc. Depending on your budget you should be able to land some reasonable mid range kit like tactical tailor or Eagle industries in the £100-120 ish region. -
Whats the general rule of thumb when it comes to fps/J?
Jefferson2000 replied to Yashy's topic in General Help
328 fps on a .2 (1j) should allow you to play at most UK sites. -

Hearing Protection Recommendations
Jefferson2000 replied to Daz85UK's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Surefire ep4 ear plugs will do the job if you're on a budget. If you're serious about your hearing then get some Peltor xpi's, expensive but very effective. Try borrowing a pair from someone first and you'll know which way to go. -
