Cheers. I think it all depends on your method of painting, the paint used etc etc. I used halfords camo paint straight on to the black finish. Seems to be OK. You could use primer first or take the gun to bits for a perfect finish but i want a natural worn look. Only been used twice since the job was done, but was also handled by few 100 people at a military show and there is VERY minor wear. Main reason i left it in one bit was the fear of breaking it putting it back together. I have a habit of doing that! Santa was kind enough to let you have it. Roll on CS on Sunday! Think the aimpoint needs a higher mount. I have one sat in kit bag you can have if you want. I'll bring it on Sunday.

Gets worse. The replacement was just as bad.ill fitting parts and a RUSTY barrel! Utter crap.

I would never buy from this place. One of the lads at our local site got a ICS L85 from them. Turned up and chrono'd at 120fps. Think he had issues trying to get it sorted.

Bought a second MTP PCS smock as the first one was a tad to small. Also got a pair of un-issued DDPM combats and some tan knee pads. As for the Binatone radios. These have now been sold on as you cant get a decent headset and PTT that is a direct fit. I bought an adapter and that would not work either. So i have replaced them with a pair of Motorola ones. Sold on ebay for £15 more than i paid!

Saturday will also now bring a Multicam WAS PLB Belt and 2 x multicam WAS closed M4 pouches. this means that in 2 weeks i have changed all my loadout bar my boots and gloves!

Have added to the pile once again! bought a VFC PEQ 15 and am waiting for a visit from marksman556 on sat to drop of a WAS DCS PC.

Well i used them all day on sunday and they performed without fault. Have just bought a bowman headset and PTT for it.

Well for £20 (RRP is £50) for 2 radios with charging dock, power leads and instructions i'll risk them not being amazing. They appear to be more or less brand new. Don't see the point in spending massive amounts on a radio that will get used once/twice a month.

picked up a pair of binatone 950 radios. saw them waking past cash converters! BARGIN!

Picked up a Nextorch LED weapon light kit. you get torch, pressure pad, barrel mount, spare batteries and spare xenon bulb. also grabbed a set of XTM rail covers for the SCAR.

I finally bit the bullet and painted one of my rifles. The M933 got a very basic paint job. Inspired (not a direct copy) of the M733 used by Delta sniper Gordon in Black Hawk Down. Stage 1 - Thinking should i be doing this to a mint rifle? I used a highcap mag as a stand. Stage 2. - Halfords Tan camo paint Stage 3 - few hours later some brown was added.

The shop is even better! Only 20 mins from me so i'm in there quite alot. Always best to call them to see whats in stock as they only ever seem to have one or two of the PCs in. Then i am lucky as i have UKMCpro & Combat south 20 mins away and Z1 and Socom Airsoft are only 40 mins away. on topic i have bought Cobra Airsoft Team patch, t shirt and hoodie.

Haha.... 2 different rifles 2 different types of mags. 9 x TM 82rd recoil mags for the SCAR and 5 120rd Emags for the M933, Spare G&P mid and high cap to lend out if anyone needs it. 4 KSC glock 19 mags. And i probably carry less ammo than the highcap warriors!

Is that from UKMCpro? they are nice bits of kit. I have the Defcon5 Recce which is the same! I thought great loads of pouches....then removed half and have now replaced the ammo pouches aswell.

Same reason we use a rofle that can only be fired right handed! - clear stupidity!
