  1. I have just bought some new paints to try. 7 different shades of green and tan.....needed for a multicam paint job i need to do.
  2. The G&P aimpoint I had was crap! think M_P had one that was equally pants! The dot would turn itself off with the slightest knock. Price wise would depend on if they are new or used and the condition etc.
  3. Depends on what you mean by woodland. The AK is the most "woodland" job i have done. The halfords colours are quite limited. Its basically Tan, Brown, OD and Black. Krylon have 6 shades but i have not tried that paint as yet. My advice would be spend alot of time getting the prep right. Clean dry off tac cloth paint in light layers. To be fair and this may sound like advertising. But if you are not 100% confident in doing it then it is prob cheaper to get it done by someone that has done it before. Can work out cheaper. The paint is around £8 a can, plus the wipes, tac clothes and maskings etc. So a 3 tone paint job would cost around £35 and if you get it wrong its far harder to redo it.
  4. hows this (may be with some tan highlights) I use the Halfords Camo paint as its fantastic quality and cheaper than the other paints you can get. (shameless plug) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Custom-Camo/134626576711215

  11. My "finished" TM SCAR-L removed the PEQ15 and fitted a Surefire M900 (element clone) The quality is fantastic with full trades. Has 2 small LED nav light and the main torch that is a CREE LED and nice and bright.
  12. Nope it has memory and will work with the last mode used. No need to cycle through the modes. Should arrive tomorrow! Picking up my new M900 this evening!
  13. Yes it has 5! 3 brightness settings, strobe and SOS. Also now sold my PEQ15 to get a M900 for my SCAR!
  14. Tom - I like that alot. Always nice to see a non multicam loadout. I am now a big fan of mixing camos patterns. I tend to use eithe DDPM of tri colours trousers and plain or MTP top. Nick - looking sexy as ever!
  15. After getting let down on a element surefire clone. I went for a cheaper option. £20 delivered £9 delivered and then for the colder days £7.20 from Go Outdoors! Pick up the adapter from a team mate on Sat.
  16. I think some OD and tan would look better. Just OD may look odd. Its amazing the change in appearance a light dusting can give. Single pass with tan spray from about a foot away. My current project. VFC SR-16. Bought as a non runner. Little love and new paint. Now working and firing at 364PFS with the HOP off. once adjusted got it to a nice 348FPS on a .2. Waiting on a Element Surefire M952V and she's ready to go.
  17. That rig looks like it is a little loose mate.
  18. I have started a FB page for painting RIFs. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Custom-Camo/134626576711215 (MODS please remove if i have broken any rules buy posting the link!) Few i have done so far.
