So I destroyed my hop chamber by forcing a mag in and now I'm getting missfeeds so I am replacing my hop chamber and while at it the nozzle as its been giving me compression issues anyway. I was going to grab a zci cnc hop chamber and a new zci nozzle but unsure of the size I need I have a specna arms sa-07 edge with zci advanced 13:1 gears zci lightweight piston and double oring piston head powered by a zci high torque motor and an upgraded 297mm zci 6.02 barrel

That is the exact grip I purchased @#$% never mind we live and learn. I will look to sell it along with the 2 hop rubbers I bought that didn't work out

So being stupid I purchases an ics pistol grip for my specna arms edge 07 and it does not fit right it appears the the entire grip needs to shift left but the guide line prevents it. Has anyone managed to get an ics grip to fit a non ics gun?

That's exactly what I did I completely screwed down the gearbox with just the gears and no piston and tested the movement

Cheers, At Stock it was making a screeching sound so this is a vast improvement but being brand new to airsoft I don't know what too tight or perfect sounds like

I polished cleaned replaced the gears with ZCI advanced 16:1 replaced the bearings with jcaged 8mm and shimmed and greesed it and fitted a ZCI high torque motor now to me it sounds perfect but this is my first gun so what do you guys think? Also it now double fires bit I this is the result of overspib caused by the gear changed a 11.1v lipo sk now need some active breaking

Are all m4 pistol grips compatible with all m4 aeg's? I have a specna arms sa-07 edge and wondered if the ICS MTS M4/M16 Tactical Pistol Grip is compatible?

Well with the stock motor I'm at 18rps and with the high torque I sit at 17.5rps I would like to be around the early 20's with better trigger response would I get that with this combination?

So I've got a zci high torque motor and I have ordered some 16:1 zci advanced gears. Will the zci high torque motor be a good match for my gearset or should I grab a different one I want a decent rate of fire but reduced motor weapon stress compared to 13:1 builds

Ok scrap that the Prometheus purple bucking and nub do not work nicely with my specna arms sa 07 edge 1.0 as I lost over 10fps Any suggestions on ones that might be a good fit

So I have purchases a Prometheus purple hop rubber. Amd it does jot have a good air seal so my fps drops and is inconsistent Any suggestions on one that fits the specna arms sa-07 edge

I need to find a place to source some more ideas. I am going to print some hex rail covers but after that I'm out of ideas

Finally got it all together with my 3d printed parts. 3d printed mag well 3d printed foregrip 3d printed tac torch mount 3d printed wall mount and MAG rack all in petg I have swapped out the stock barrel and bucking for a ZCI 6.02 294mm barrel and Prometheus purple bucking and nub and a ZCI high torque motor Now it's nice and snappy and very accurate

I have a cr6 se printer 235 x 235 print bed I print pla and petg

Brill I feel really need to waste money on something for this gun so I will grab the speed loader and MAG mags. Yes I do do commmissions on the side to fund the cost of my filaments and printer bits. Didn't realise till now how much can be printed for airsoft

Cheers guys for the advice maybe a bone yard gun after a few months of playing will tickle that tinkering itch, what speed loader and mid cap mags would you guys recommend? Just grabbed a red dot sight and owning a 3d printer has some advantages as I have printed a nicer fore grip and a mag well is on the print bed now

Very true and your right despite all the vids and articles I have read I don't have a clue about the sport yet just very excited and want to buy new things for my new toy and make it my own. Any recommendations on what I could buy for it that does not involve playing with the gearbox for now? I did grab a nuprol 11.1v 30c battery and smart charger

I have read a lot of stuff and watched a lot of videos and the concesus was I been to open it and Check its all OK give a good lube a d remove any rough bits so whilst in there I think I might replace a few bits but being new I wondered if I could have a bit of guidance. I was looking ate going with the below: Rocket SHS 13:1 OR Rocket SHS 16:1 GEARS SHS high torque 16tpa motor J-caged 8mm bearings Prometheus purple hop rubber BP customs m4 timer trigger Replacement o-rings How does all this sound and will it work?

I'm going 13:1 gears with a 16tpa high torque motor and don't want to start removing teeth ect to stop overshoot and active breaking appears to be the best way

I have a specna arms e07 edge and want to add active breaking with the nano aab. I have looked at the manual and it appears that I can just swap them out as the sa e07 has the 2 live wires on one trigger contact and the single signal wire on the second as described in the nano aab installation. I just want to confirm this is right
