  1. Ive decided to go for the lonex pom mushroom head piston head and rocket silent cylinder head as supposedly these absorb a lot more than standard and reduce the risk of cracking. Now I am just debating whether to stick with my 13:1 gears or swap to something less stressful
  2. I am hearing conflicting things about the rubber dampener at the front of the fps cylinder head preventing cracking and actually speeding it up?
  3. Cheers buddy! Has anyone tried FPS Softair cylinder heads and pistons they are advertised for HROF
  4. I forgot to mention I am using 11.1v 30c batteries as well
  5. Do you think the orion will hold up for a while? I've got some replacement bits in my basket: Gearparts pom piston head XT steel heat resistant cylinder 60% XT cylinder head with 2.5mm pad ZCI 14 tooth cnc piston XT 21.4mm nozzle E&C tappet plate The gears and bits I currently have are: ZCI advanced 13:1 gears short stroked by 2 teeth M100 piano wire spring ZCI high toque motor Perun V2 hybrid
  6. But where is the fun in that ? In all seriousness I purchased all the bits for a 13:1 build short stroked the gears purxgased q perun v2 and everything and the trigger response is amazing. I do however have a set of 16:1 zci advanced gears but didn't use them because someone told me they are pretty much identical to the stock 18:1 gears
  7. So if anyone has seen my other threads my gearbox cracked and the piston shot out the front. Out of shear luck someone on this great forum had a spare orion gearbox that they sorted me out for postage and a coffee!! So, I don't want to be in the same situation anytime soon and wanted some advice from you guys on what if anything I can buy or do to help prevent or mitigate gearbox cracking? I have seen these cylinder heads do these help? Thank you all in advance
  8. Mate you are a life saver ping me a message with the details
  9. So I'm now desperately trying to find a replacement gearbox shell for my specna arms edge 07. E&C are out of stock everywhere the lonex apparently does not fit so I'm now looking at the modify gearbox shell and wanted to know if they fit?
  10. Anyone know any other gearboxes that will work with the spacna arms edge series?
  11. No worries thanks for letting me know, I will keep looking
  12. Cheers buddy, that seems easy enough. Just need to find one now
  13. @ak2m4do you have any idea when you might be selling the gearbox I have a new piston, piston head and cylinder saved in my basket in your store as they all got destroyed when my gearbox detonated so I can do it all at once
  14. E&C is exactly what I'm after as they fit perfectly but have been unable to find one anywhere
  15. So as seen in my other thread my specna arms edge gearbox just shat itself and exploded so I'm after a replacement QD gearbox that will fit the edge series lower reciever and not take 4 weeks to arrive Any help would be greatly appreciated
  16. I bought one then had to cancel as it appears the lonex gearbox doesn't fit specna arms lower reciever so still trying to find something that will
  17. I just purchased a lonex gearbox it has lots of extra reinforcement around the cylinder head it isn't raduised though. Wondering if I can salvage that piston
  18. Can anyone recommend a replacement gearbox that won't explode on 13:1 gears
  19. I had upgraded the gears to 13:1 and installed a perun v2 but that's all. Didn't expect anything like this to happen
  20. Yeah unfortunately, doesn't matter now though just took my gun in the garden to test the mag movement and this happened. I think maybe the feeding issues have been a precursor to this. About ready to give up
  21. So I'm having an issue with my specna arms sa-07 edge where with certain mags namely all my high cap and my lonex 200 round mid caps I'm getting misfeeds blank shots and bb's just rolling out of the mag. I've got a game tomorrow so I am desperate to solve this issue asap
  22. So in the persuit of resolving my feeding issue I have found that the nozzle is nor perfectly seated in the tappet plate and there is a couple of mm gap but if I push the tappet plate a bit the fit.ent is perfect and there is no wobble. This is with the stock and zci tapped plate and with the zci, rocket and stock nozzle so can I glue the nozzle to the tappet plate with some super glue or epoxy? Also the gears I have are the ZCI advanced 13:1 with the built in delayer chip but it's only a small circle in comparison to other delayer chips I have seen so qcould I 3d print a petg ring to put around it to increase its size and assist with feeding? Finally I have sanded a few microns off my rocket nozzle to match the stock length of 21.37mm would this have any impact I have attched an image below of the nozzle
  23. Ah cheers I didn't see that whilst looking through the manual. Could incorrect precocking setting cause a jam like I have been experiencing
  24. Just a quick on really as I could not find much online. Can you mix active breaking and precocking I have a perun v2 and wondered if you can mix both as I am trying to narrow down a solution to a different problem
  25. @ak2m4I have ordered one of your xt m4 nozzles as you said they have the tightest fit I am hoping this combined with the new tappet plate and spring might resolve this issue
