Flashhider on my M249 is little bent so will need to replace that at some point.. its turning out to be a rather expensive gun! That and there are never any parts in stock for it anywhere!!!

If i did i'd need to upgrade the range to make it worth while, but I'm more of an Aimpoint type of person... Yea I still need: 10x link 5.56 rounds, PEQ-2 battery box, foresight and either a harris bi-pod or a grip-pod, haven't decided which

Looks good Ed! How tall are you so I can gauge the length of he rifle? Anyway my newly acquired M249, going to model it more off the MK.46 but with a few alterations.. Still need a few bits for it, like a PEQ-2, bipod and I'm sure many other things will come to mind!

Necroposting is a online forum term for dragging up or quoting very old or 'dead' posts or threads. It is strongly discouraged as it basically ends up in a whole load of reposts. Also quote a whole load of pictures is also discouraged for the.same reasons, it clogs up the forum. For future reference, if you absolutely have to comment on something three years old, just say something along the lines of... "Nutser, I saw your first post on this thread of your M14 and MP5s and they're very nice" However the chances are he won't have them anymore and so mentioning something from three years ago is fairly pointless...

Well I'm broke! Details of brokeness... Just bought 2x double M4 pouch in A-TACS FG Double pistol mag pouch in A-TACS FG (I use a revolver BTW :/) Handy Utility Pouch, A-TACS FG T-shirt again in A-TACS FG 4x Malice Clips and the piest du resistance a custom made Hydration pouch for a 1L bladder.. also in A-TACS FG For those interested this has come to a grand total of about £91.97

I think I prefer the striped look.. but then again I've never been much of a fan of the whole scrim/snake skin pattern..

That would make sense as UKSF use RAVs so there are quite a few pictures of people in Brit kit with RAVs on
