There's no way to shoot a single bb so I've just got to shoot a fully loaded shell through the chrono. Normally gives a reading in the high 200s. Pretty pointless exercise as you can visibly see bb's aren't going particularly fast, and irritating as loading the shells is not a trivial task.
Is this turning into a 'show off your shotgun' thread? Don't mind if I do...
Hwasan Mad Max Sawed-Off Shotgun. Converted to fire APS shells, firing 17 BBs per shell. Nothing will beat the look of fear of everyone else in the chrono queue when they see this fire. Surprisingly impressive range, and can fire both barrels at the same time with a finger on each trigger.
I think 'established historian' is generous. He's a pop-history writer with a YouTube channel. A lot of his videos have turned out to be complete bollocks as well. I was a fan of his many years ago but I don't trust any of his claims anymore.
A Second World War British infantry kit is definitely on my radar. I'm split between the S&T and the Ares, particularly as Ares do the No. 4 (T) scoped variant.
I've had an S&T Sterling for about 6 years now. The thing thrives on neglect. It gets regular hard use with minimal maintenance and it just won't stop. I would definitely get another S&T product.
