  1. I live in the North West and site options have become extremely limited in the past few years. Bravo 22, an old classic, fell victim to COVID. Redworks in Wrexham, if any one remembers, was only open about a year but was one of the best ran sites I've been to, was turfed out without notice by the landlords a few years back and as far as I know never found a new home. Now I've just found out Alpha 55 went in December for the same reasons. Without naming names the remaining sites within reasonable driving distance are pretty mediocre. It's very disheartening and am considering packing in the sport for the foreseeable future unless I relocate. Is this a phenomenon people have observed elsewhere in the country?
  2. This was more an inquiry about what the difference between the two different models rather than anything to do with the price.
  3. This was Action Hobbies' response to my question. Thoughts? Hi Niall This is going to sound very odd, nothing really, we started getting the 1.0 before the 2.0 and externally identical, internally we can not tell difference but the 1.0 is slightly older and cost us more at the time we could get them, we was going to take the advert of the 1.0 model down but if we was to not able to get the 2.0 version for some reason then at least customers have the option of the 1.0. If you are asking me the better version its the cheaper 2.0 model Apologies if all thats confusing Regards
  4. Considering a E&C M16VN. There seems to be two types with a slight price difference. One is referred to as a "QD V2.0", the slightly more expensive version is a "QR 1.0 EGV" Not sure what these terms refer to. Although the URL's refer to one as black, the other as grey, they are both described as black in the listings and pictures. https://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/products/ec-m16vn-qr-1-0-egv-black/ https://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/products/ec-m16a1-2-0-airsoft-rifle-grey-receiver/
  5. Your name's not Garry Cheesemen by any chance is it...
  6. I'm a bit more minimalist/cheap so I tend to just wear foam earplugs in cqb. No interference with facemasks at all. Once cash is a bit more plentiful I might invest in some active protection ear plugs if there are any decent ones.
  7. He's at it again... Hasn't even changed the email
  8. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

I'm a bit of a masochist and am looking to use a SUSAT on other guns. Looking for an adaptor so I can fit it on picatinny rails. Ant supplies (linked below) used to make one but it's been out of stock for many many years. If you have one sitting in a box somewhere that you only just remembered you owned, hit me up! https://www.ant-supplies.uk/rails-and-adapters/susat-scope-rail-adapter.html NOTE: I'm not looking for a picatinny adaptor to put on an SA80. Im looking for the opposite to put a SUSAT on otherwise perfectly normal guns.

  9. I bet the next bloody Game of Thrones book will come out before the new KA L1A1
  10. Can you elaborate on your thoughts on the Volante? I've previously only heard good things about it and have on order myself.
  11. I can't stress this enough, the ASG Schofield is amazing. Shoots amazingly well despite having no hop-up. Very accurate. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1136807925/asg-schofield-shell-set-low-power You'll have to use these. ASG never made power down shells for the Schofield for some reason. These 3D printed shells are of very good quality and are very affordable!
  12. Ive done this once when my new AEG was chronoing too hot. Ran with a WE TT-33 all day and I genuinly had one of the best days of airsoft i've ever had.
  13. I would probably set up production of the niche guns that I am interested in that no one makes in real life. Bren guns, vickers guns, a decent Browning Hi-Power etc. Oh and all the bolt-action rifles.And/or legalize the conversion of real firearms, deactivated or otherwise, into airsoft guns.
