  1. No, I was telling you to be quiet 😉
  2. Drum mags on standby! Let's meet up for a drink and a photo for the forum. There's a crowd of us going from Red Alert.
  3. Saturday was another day out for the Red Alert crew, over at Gunman Alpha, for one of their filmsims (I missed the Vietnam one 😕) Another bloody great day. And when I say that, I want to point out I didn't get a single confirmed kill all day. Didn't matter. It was such a fun day that I didn't care. We all had a great time. There was a minor incident of overkill from another player but it was dealt with. I also bumped into @RebelScumwho seems to be a nice bloke. Sunday I was working as usual, and after crawling through the ferns at Gunman all day, then drinking half a bottle of fireball whisky and sleeping on a friend's sofa, I started the day a little delicately. But it was a great day, with the only complaint from anyone all day was that it was too hot. During the down time I put the bolt back into my MWS, which a mate had taken away to fit a new nozzle on, and do a little work with. It's flinging .4s straight as an arrow off into the distance somewhere. Bloody happy! It is tick season, and I found one of the little shits on my in the shower this morning, so be sure to check yourselves after woodland game days. And we did a Pride month shoot on Sunday morning.
  4. Yes, yes. "Naf sucks". We know. But how many of you might I actually bump into there? 😁 I'm Others.
  5. We ran another of our bi monthly attack sense sessions last night. Good turn out, and we had good fun with it.
  6. A couple of years ago I decided to put together an airsoft squad, with a group of people I enjoyed playing with. Our goal was never to be the best, or the winners. Our goal was to have a laugh playing toy soldiers in the woods. And we're succeeding at that! It's all about silly fun, and never taking ourselves seriously. Over time our little group has grown from 5 to 17 members, all with the same "Fun first" attitude. We don't often get all of us together at the same time, but today we had a good strong group out on the field, and a lot of fun was had. Missing a few faces, including our Scottish contingent, but it was great to see so many Outcasts playing together again. Unfortunately, with over 100 players on the field, and a shortage of volunteer marshals this week, I had to work. But the Outcasts did me proud. One of our squad did, unfortunately, manage to step in front of a friendly sniper hidden in a bush, at pretty much point blank range. If it wasn't for his goggle strap it could have been really nasty. We call him Iron Skull now. @GAMBLE @Smiling-Dutchman @Honey Badger 63 What the actual fuck?
  7. Did the guy doing the random draws on usedairsoft take out a banner ad on this forum? 🤔
  8. Not yet, but Johnny said it's imminent. The ferns are getting high, and the rhododendrons are thick, so it needs to happen soon. Most of my guys will be US I imagine, but I am VERY tempted to turn up on the day as vc. Stop reading this, Mark 🤪
  9. Saturday a bunch of us went to a filmsim day at Gunman Eversley Alpha. I'd never been before, but most of my group had, several times. It was a very fun experience. The site is approximately 66 acres, with various POIs, like small village areas, "the wall" which is like the front of a Fort, bunkers etc, but for the most part it is tracks between very dense, very tall rhododendron bushes. Like 15 feet high bushes EVERYWHERE. So, you have two options: Walk the paths and end up potentially blundering into a firefight. Or. Crouch/ crawl through the less dense parts, sneaking around a lot. We mostly opted for the latter, with great results. The main objectives of the day were the three bomb sites, with the usual bomb devices that can be captured by a team and then start counting off how long they've been held by that team. Only the designated team engineers, four per side, can capture the bombs. Medic rules were a two minute bleed out, but anyone can medic you in with a 10 count within that 2 minutes. You can crawl to a friendly to be mediced, but if you're shot again during the crawl you're dead. I had a really fun day, this being the first time I've played anywhere other than Red Alert in a couple of years, and the incredibly dense foliage, with high humidity, lead to a very strategic, slow paced and sneaky day, interspersed with moments of utter chaos as fans met shit. I was REALLY glad I put my camelback on my rig again! Marshaling was great, the brief was short, to the point and well presented. The on site kitchen did EXCELLENT burgers at a very reasonable price. Apparently Gunman Alpha only runs once a month, doing these special events on a Saturday, while their Beta site, just around the corner, is the usual Sunday skirmish. I'll definitely be going along next month for another filmsim day, although I need to borrow some stuff as it's a nam event, with kit restrictions. If you're close enough to Eversley I'd check them out. And then Sunday I marshalled at Red Alert as usual. Bloody lovely day, great sun, only one incident of "he's not taking his hits!" (He was). We had a father and son who usually play at another, infamous, site come try red alert, and they had a great time, though I think they were surprised by the rules 😉 I joined in one game in the morning, but all the crouch walking through the bushes on Saturday had taken its toll on my right achilles tendon, so I went back to marshaling. The ankle is strapped up today. Nothing too bad, but better safe than sorry, especially as I'm off to a music festival this weekend. So yeah, go to Gunman Eversley (and obviously Red Alert 🤪)
  10. New signage. I only made the steel frames.
  11. Well, we do have them every 3 months! And I'll be sure to post about future battlesims etc well in advance.

  13. Right? Everyone loves brown parcel tape.
  14. Anywaaaayyyyy....... 😉 150 notes for a pistol that looks like Christopher Walken has been keeping it safe. But it's okay, BOTH the mags leak.
  15. I just got confused. You know what it's like, when you mean one thing but say your mother. ANOTHER!
  16. This. Guy has no trade feedback, why give him the benefit of the doubt?
  17. Yes, yes, but enough about your mother.....
  18. Not my pew. Not even sure what it is. But I did a quick and dirty paint job for a friend.
  19. How was my day? REALLY FUCKING HOT. But good.
