Depending if they have any in stock, don't expect to get them in a hurry.

I've been waiting for some spares since November (which showed 'in stock')

They say they're awaiting a shipment from WE soon.

Yeah I'm struggling to find most things! Did manage to get a new out barrel! Got a lot of chopping and sanding to do lol

  2. Anyone know where I can get a WE AK gas tube? I'm converting my Ak74 to a 105/74u hybrid. I want everything to be reversable. So don't want to chop up the existing one! Managed to get an outer batter and 105 front sight. Just can't get a spare gas tube

  3. Anyone know the correct length of the classic army aug air nozzle length. I never know there would be so much varied information on a subject!

24.6, 24.75 and just 'aug' nozzles pop up. I'd measure mine but it's a little damaged to be accurate enough to show the difference.

Partly tempted to just get a metal long one and start filing if needs be

you meaning an hpa tapped gbb?

possibly, or a non-return valve so it doesn't vent the air.

depends wether you want to be able to convert them back to gbb mags in the future.

oooh do sell me on the non return valve idea!? these readily available or require some work? need it for next weekend lol

  5. ive hap's my ak. and I've noticed when I disconnect the hose from the mag I lose a fair amount of air (the volume of the mags gas chamber) that's like 40 odd shots worth minimum. 10 mag changes and that's a good amount of the bottle empty. sooo. would filling the void be a viable option to decrease the amount of air wasted?

  6. you can't buy a non 2 tone airsoft gun even if you possess a class 1 fire arms licence! that means rifles.. people can legally buy a rifle say chambered in 30 odd 6. (7.62 in nato) that can do a lot more damage than a toy gun. so afraid age won't get you anywhere. plus if you want it for plinking in your garden then who cares if its 2 tone? only you will see it

  7. id use a clear 2k lacquer in a rattle can. 2k meaning its 2 part. you normally pull a pin and twist it at the bottom of the can. you get about 30 mins before the can is a dud. way more durable than standard stuff in a can, and you can get it reinforced with glass flake for extra abrasion resistance.

I am fresh from slapping an engine in an AEG and I have to say the whole process was completely painless.

I did do some research in advance for an ideal AEG for my needs, to suit me and my play style and for some experiences with said base gun.

Cylinder replacement in, all lined up perfectly, just need to tweak some settings but it was a great introduction for me personally.

I have the gun I wanted with the setup I wanted. Roll on 13th to christen her.

I still can't decide. as I keep seeing people with really cool blowback ak's.. so the chatter from the bolt would sound cool.. I'm trying to get away from buying new guns after each game lol.. I had a bad habit of that years ago..

The P90. AEG mags don’t fit, so you have to buy the gbb mags.

The trigger mechanism is appaling, fortunately Rhesus Customs have a fix if you’re tech minded.

The nozzle is a weak point, buy  spares,

    That’s your starter for 10

I shall avoid the p90! I'm still undecided. if I go aeg to hpa it will probably be an mp5. gbb.. I dunno.. just nothing m4.. the platform is so boring after 17 years of them lol

I run both.  A WE 416 with an armorer works drum mag hpa tapped and a cyma AK with a kythera engine in it.

I love them both. The 416 for the clatter and the kythera for the ultra quietness of it. It depends what you want- noise or silence :)

that I haven't decided on yet lol. my only decision is no m4 platforms that's it!

  10. Some hopups require a shorter or longer air nozzle. Too long and it will not feed. Too short and you'll get multiple feeds. Also some aftermarket ones have washers and springs to push them back against the gearbox. The removal of the o ring can sometimes be the difference between feeding and not. But why change just because its rotary?
