Could be a higher power export version.
Yeah, KWA are bound to come up with metal slide version.

Does anyone owns this or had first hand experience installing it on a TM Glock : https://www.fab-defense.co.il/en/category-buttstocks/id-753/glock-full-size-models-actical-stock-.html
Basically need to know if it'll fit a TM or will need modifying. Thanks in advance.

Question for you bud, does the FAB DEFENSE GLR-17 Glock Tactical Stock fit a Tokyo Marui Glock without modifications ?

I am happy with my We TT33 and Colt Juniors/ Ct25, and sold the broken browning to a friend with the promise of sourcing the replacement part so not really familiar with the inner workings but still happy with the one I have now and only sold the other one as it didn't have trades. TBH greatfull that they did the MK III and can live with issue, will buy a few replacement from Ky next time I place a order with them.
-
Yeah mechanism vary but all GBB's will have the provision for the striker to be out of hams way when inserting a mag, Tanaka used the WA Magna R gas system, outdated but proven, my two cents worth I think the problem is WE making the internals with cheese.
-
Definitely, it's a old design, 90% copy of Tanaka's hi power, Tanaka's weren't great but they worked apart from mags prone to leaking but no part failures.
-
I sold the old one a while back as I wanted one with trades but do remember it breaking it within a hour of use as I wasn't aware of the issue, I don't recall it ever being a problem on the old version with tangent sights and the bit that breaks seems identical so maybe it was a QC issue, not saying improved the mechanism, that like yourself I doubt very much and not taking any chances neither but hoping that are using better quality monkey metal for part #30.
-
I had the same issue on my non traded one that I bought soon as they were released mate, took three months for KY to send me the replacement, this is a new one I bought in Aug, though above mentioned was only by accident but the firing pin hasn't broke, not saying they have but made me wonder if they have rectified the issue.
-
Funny you say that mate, my latest one (had one before when they first came out and it did have that issue) received last month from 6mm, I forgot and left the mag in the gun overnight and the firing pin thingy didn't break, also accidentally inserted the mag couple of times without racking the slide and it's still ok, maybe WE has sorted it but I do still rack the slide before inserting the mag just incase, that is if I remember : ( .
In regards to the mags the reason I asked as HK retailers are selling them as old version/m1935 ones and MKIII :
http://armypanda.com/products/WE-Browning-Hi%2dPower-MK3-Original-Magazine-.html
and was hoping anyone with first hand experience could clarify.
-
Are the mags the same/compatible for the WE old Hi Power with tangent sights and their new MK III ? Anyone with first hand experience. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply mate, going by how GBB's work that was my hunch and yes replacing the piston has stopped it venting but now it double feeds and dry fires when the gas is low and the bb's just accumulate in the chamber and barrel, sometimes slide locking back when it gets to the last round.
-
My KWA CZ 75 is venting all the gas in a single trigger pull, I heard that the piston head perishes on KSC/KWA guns, could that be the reason or I am braking up the wrong tree . Thanks in advance.

I had them added. Jim at LC's engineering did them for me on mine and a mate's one. they were the first ones he did so he spent wuite a bit of time getting fonts etc as close as he could to the referance pictures I sent him. Have to say I am very pleased with the result. I've added real steel grips and the small single safety for a more specific look.
How much did the trademarks set you back mate ?

Is the single safety from the old WE Browning with tangent sights mate ?

Quiet fancy having a commander/ring hammer on my WE Hi Power MK III, does anyone know if the hammers are compatible between the WE MK III and old version with the tangent sights ? . Thanks in advance.
-
Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. I thought I was the only one into retro 1911's. Is it a comp ready barrel you got on there ? And is the hammer KM one or DA workshop ?

From memory about £60 . Jim at LC's engineering does an awesome job (mine was the first Hi Power he did) he does have a long waiting list though. I've just booked another slot with him for some L119 trades and I recon it'll about 6 months wait.
Thanks mate, definitely something I'll look into after Xmas if I can't find anyone local.

Fire Support has a large range https://www.fire-support.co.uk/category/hi-capa/?manufacturer=&stock=&stpos=0&no_per_pg=999 but I found I had to go Japan/China/Taiwan for the niche stuff when I built my replica.
Nice gun mate, should you ever decide to part with it give me first refusel.

Is the hop bucking/ hop rubber on a TM M&P9 same as the one as on other TM pistols like Hi Capa's, Sig P226 etc ?. Thanks in advance.
