Warq Helmet. end of issue No fog of glases, or visor, light and comfy, only one strap to worry about I wear glasses. Tried Dye and Bolle X800, they all still fogged. Warq just doesn't fog, ever
-
I started off with Dye i4. it fogged up as did my glasses in it Tried ESS, Sawflies, Novritch's, all fogged very easily.. Revision wipes, cat cr*p etc all tried Moved onto Bolle X800, much better, great viz and the Bolle's only fogged a bit at the edges, but my glasses steamed up. You also have the fun of google strap, face half mask strap and helmet strap etc Upgraded to a WarQ, and Perfect. No fog ever, both mask or glasses, Just one strap, comfy, light, full protection and coms built in. I wear Ghost Strike ear defender/amplifiers under it. Only negative on it is you need a 1" riser to counter the large face guard. Vision is exceptional wearing it. Not going back to googles

Thats probably cos Blasters are very inconsistant with loads of random voids inside them. Try some Geoffs, valkyries, or G&G and I bet you see improvement
-
They are more size/weight consistant, than many well know makes. I've actually measured them. Airsoft draft clubs are the worst I seen, random shaped, followed by Blasters (random voids). Novritsch's, Geoffs, Valkyrie, G&G are all very good and consistant. Valkyries are a good price in bulk, come in nice tubes and have been 2 day delivery each time I've ordered. Seen no inconsistency between weights. So have become my go to, as all my barrels are 6.01 or 6.02 would expect issues if there were any distortions

A disability can be medical agreed, but a medical condition is not automatically a disability and that's where your argument fails Perfectly legal for a shop to refuse to service anyone they want to as long as it's not on the grounds listed above and a medical condition like asthma is NOT a disability. Its reasonable for them to not refuse service for non mask wearers if they have a legitimate excuse (and note most of those not wearing masks DO NOT have a legitimate medical excuse other than selfishness). As there is no absolute legal definition of what constitutes a medical reason to not wear a mask (just guidlines) there is lots of room for interpretation. Plenty of shops round here with signs saying no mask, no service for any reason

These are the legally protected characteristics under UK law. Medical isn't in there age gender reassignment being married or in a civil partnership being pregnant or on maternity leave disability race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin religion or belief sex sexual orientation
-
Discrimination on medical grounds is still perfectly legal in the UK, unless you can drag disability or religion into it and unless youre a Jehova's nut job, no other religion bands vaccinations. In fact the Vatican has made it mandatory for all its staff to be vaccinated (so much for trusting in God for protection) Schools, nurseies etc are allowed to refuse pupils who haven't had MMR etc
-
Pimlico plumbers is the test case for this 1) They want all new staff to be vaccinated, and its a condition of all new contracts that they are. this has been deemed legal as the new staff have a choice to join or not 2) They want to amend all existing contracts to insist all staff get vaccinated. This is on dodgy ground and is to be tested in the high court (in both cases there are exceptions if you are medically unable to have a vaccine) 3) Terminate all current contracts using some excuse and then sign all old staff on a new vaccination mandatory contract. Technically illegal, but companies do it all the time How this affects us is it would be perfectly legal for a site to add a rule that players must provide proof of vaccination to be allowed to enter a site. The game is voluntary so no body is forcing you you sign up aand have a vaccine

The marlin spike on a Swiss army knife is designed just for this (also know as the tool for getting boy scouts out of horses hooves)

The ICS L85 takes a 510/500mm barrel perfectly assuming a full size L85 and not the carbine. The Maple leaf 6.02 barrel and Mr Hop are a great combo in it, with an Omega nub you don't need to do anything with the hop unit. It will take 11 v through the original trigger contacts no probs (just not needed, works fine on 7 or 9v ), just solder a Gate Warfet in against the top receiver. I have the Gate Pico AAB in one of mine as well The ICS gearbox is extremely good, mine needed a single .2 shim to make it perfect (Pinion), most are almost there from factory, gears are as good as aftermarket. If you want to increase ROF, put a faster motor on and use a Warfet to set pre-cock etc Guarder SP110 spring will get you 340 fps on the middle setting assuming all air seals are good. I've got one firing at 15 rps and one at 20 (both on 7v Titans). Don't want it any faster as that slight gap makes it easier to follow each BB through my 4x sight and walk it onto target if needed. Shooting 60m+ and laser straight Oh and yes, you do need some barrel support! One thing to watch for, if you fall and stick barrel in ground, it flexes easily and can bend the inner barrel. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Maple-Leaf-Airsoft-6-02-Stainless-Steel-AEG-Precession-Barrel-Softair-6mm-bbs/372661978425?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=641684415126&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Maple-Leaf-Super-Macaron-Hop-Bucking-50-60-70-75-80-Omega-Nub/324330603677?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=513398421328&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Guarder-Phantom-Airsoft-SP-AEG-Spring-6mm-bbs-Softair/133332996564?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=432737303176&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Maple-Leaf-Hop-Rubber-50-Degree-MR-HOP-for-AEG/224090967398?hash=item342cdccd66:g:s4sAAOSweENfGX-R

What's the Most Efficient Stock GBB Pistol You've Used!
MadMole replied to Lex Dangler's topic in Gas Guns
TM MK23. As its non Blow back doesn't even waste gas pushing the slide back -
Nothing wrong with that gun. Short range far too little to show any affect from hop up, needs 20m plus to even start to see differences, unless you almost block the path by over hoping Grouping normal, the slight flyers will be down to BB inconsistency (bet their Blasters!) Low left is due to jerking the trigger and perfectly normal for most people. Can be trained out seems they are sending you a new hop rubber

Guns That Aren't as Popular as They Should Be....
MadMole replied to Adolf Hamster's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I run two G36's as lend to my mates rif's, dependable, easy to use, easy(ish) to fix, can take drum mags easily to field as a semi LMG I run an ICS L85 and L86 as my mains (much easier to wield than my M4's). great feel, very accurate, piece of P## to service and tweak, and the easiest battery compartment out there. also have an Army L85 but its nowhere near as good as the ICS's Sometimes carry an KWC mini Uzi as a back up for fun Occasionally use my Umarex G3 GBB, but basically for our site with very intense short battles any GBB is a waste of time as you need around 500-2000 rounds a game -
Here are my 3, Top is a full on Mike Cripps build, based on his recommendations and a TM 5.1. snappy, shoots very accurately, 340fps on Black, Virtually all internals are custom as is Slide. This is my Plinking gun Middle is a medium Mike build, again based on a TM 5.1. Barrel, Hop, Nozzle upgraded. 80% of the above for half its price. 330fps on Black gas, Slide is original TM. Notice the MantisX unit , this is my dry fire training gun Bottom is 2 year old Novritsch SSP1 with cutaway slide and short stroke kit, all else is standard. Main Skirmish Side arm, its survived, rain, mud and everything its been asked of. Reasonably accurate, loud, effective, reliable. 340fps on Black Gas and works well in the cold
-
I have 2 high end High capa's from Mike at Elite, both fantastic pistols and highly recommend, but I still skirmish with a near standard SSP1 (cutaway slide and short stoke kit). Its dependable, accurate enough and survives being sat on, dragged in mud etc for the last 2 years

Go Titan battery, Double (at least) the capacity over the lipo's
-
File the feed lips a little to make a circle in the middle. will let the BB's sit a fraction higher andn centered. Common issue on Mk23 and Hi-capa's as well
-
I've fired about 15,000 Valkyries now, 0.28 and 0.25's. Not a single issue, very consistent. I have a personal set of data on many makes BB's where I measure mass, size in 3 axis, molding marks, blemishes and internal voids and Valkyrie are very very good in all aspects I've measured. Personally I have swapped to Valkyrie for all but heavy BB's for which I use Novritsch's. I also would use Geoffs and G&G's. Valkyrie are bringing out heavy BB's shortly so I suspect they will be my sole provider then Brands I avoid, Blasters (horrible random internal voids), Baddass, Snow Wolf, Cursed, draft club (airsoft operators box (boy are they bad!)) Hell, even cheapo Bulldogs are better than blasters (and much cheaper)

G36 High Caps Are Terrible. Feeding Speed)
MadMole replied to Asomodai's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Strange, G36's are not mag sensitive at all normally, if it clicks in it feeds -
G36 High Caps Are Terrible. Feeding Speed)
MadMole replied to Asomodai's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Did you change your hop unit? much more likely on a G36 that your hop feed tube isn't quite in the right place and the tension is overcoming the friction caused by misalignment. Or your nozzle length is wrong or the tappit plate not sat correctly or bent. Did you change any of these? I have 4 G36's and have serviced many makes of them, they are very critical of nozzle length and not all makes work with all nozzle's. plastic tappit arms get bent etc, even .5 of a mm makes all the difference -
Novritsh Bio BB's (dont mock) The main material of the sample is s Polylactic acid (PLA),. Inorganic Filler Content: 85.1 % BaSo4 + Cerium Oxide. They are moisture insensitive (never had one jam even after bag open several months, kept in damp workshop), and certified to German standards to be 100% biodegradable Used them for last year, very consistent, no failures, no air bubbles or surface marks (unlike the AGS I used before) and cheaper for heavier weights. Very nice BB's. Now use them exclusivity 0.28 for AEG's, 0.36 for pistols and 0.4 for sniper. Cant see any difference from his non Bio's
-
Bio BB's haven't used hygroscopic PVA for many years now. They are moisture stable. Mind you they take many years to rot and only under landfill conditions

I have a bay B6, it heats up batteries while charging, then I have a top of the range SKYRC charger that does 2 at once and batteries charge as fast but never even warm up. Get the SKYRC chargers, your batteries will thank you and long term it will be cheaper. Never really rated the B6, had several for RC cars and always had issues
-
lucky you, still waiting for mine

My toy SRC Gen 3, full metal Madbull 6.03, Gate Titan, SHS hi torque motor, 16:1 gears, shimmed, Prom purple bucking on airsoft pro hop up. 110 spring, bearing guide, double O rings all round etc 327fps at 17rps on 0.2 bb's with 8.6v. 1" group at 16m I'm blind in my right eye, so have sights on a riser so I can use left eye on red dot on right shoulder and both sights on left Other g36 was a broken one I got cheap. Idiot had over springed it and gears jumping, plus magazine broken. easy fix, now 367fps at 11rps. need to put lower spring it. horribly plastic CYMA. The SRC is leagues better quality
