@FreeFrag.UK A GHK AK I can talk you through the needed upgrades if you ever decide to buy one.  They are pretty simple

To be honest I like my AEG's, I just wish they all had stop on empty features. I had an MWS some time ago and while I enjoyed it,  I had concerns about longevity in the field for longer events due to having to carry gas in addition to everything else. If I were to go to gas then I'd be going into the AK's from GHK but I would probably hold onto my MP5 and  P90.

I think the main hesitation is whether or not I'd be able to effectively liquidate the collection to get an AK set up how I'd like with all the trimmings.

AEGs can be a pain, especially when no matter how much time and money you put into them, they still don't match your expectations...

Do it, once you go GBBR AEGs are never the same.  I run my GHK AKM and my MWS almost exclusively now.  I haven't used an AEG in over a year and don't even consider buying a new gun unless its a GBBR.  Limits your options and therefore spending quite nicely, though I am soooo tempted by an MP9, GHK 553 or VFC G3.

Try sitting it upside down and put a good squirt/drip of silicone in the hole just In case the O-ring has dried out a bit and needs a ‘drink’ .
