after some research ive found that the ICS stickers are more compatible the with cyma platinum gearboxes, but i cant test it rn
-
nevermind, ill have to stop now since one of the wires got loose and got cut in half. I think I have an idea of how to fix the sensor issue but now ill have to wait for some electrical tape to come in the mail
-
the sensors are ever so slightly off, im gonna try file the gearbox and see if that helps which side are you filing it from?
-
ok now my gun is only firing in full auto, i suspect something is wrong with the sensors on the selector
-
havnt programmed it yet, was testing it and it started firing like that
-
Any idea what is wrong with my gun? PXL_20230816_134637329.mp4

so im trying to install my perun, it looks like ill have to file down a screw hole so it fits in flush
-
i would send it back to patrolbase but i need the gun before the weekend to play. just watched a bunch of youtube videos last night, shouldnt be too hard to drop a perun in there. always enjoyed opening up gadgets, so ill have fun with it either way
-
funnily enough my cyma has stopped working after a single skirmish. just waiting for my perun hybrid to come through the mail now. hopefully i dont make it any worse than it already is
-
nope i've just ordered a new battery and while i was at it ordered a perun and some shimmings and silicon oil. i mean may aswell at this point
-
So i just plugged a battery into my gun and its not shooting. it beeps like normal when i plug the battery but the trigger doesnt do anything, does that mean the mosfet is fried? Real shame because I only skirmished it once and barely shot 300bbs. Anyways apart from installing a Perun hybrid v2 what are some cheap and easy upgrades for someone who has no experience teching?
-
yeah, figured the mosfet will burn eventually, wondering what the life expectancy will be with 11.1s tho. I'd like to get a good amount of use out of it before needing to replace anything
-
I have the cyma plat mp5 upgraded version from patrolbase, I'm currently running with 7.4v lipos and the gun feels really nice. Patrolbase recommends 11.1v but I've heard stories of cyma mosfets burning and some say they've fixed that problem with the new batch. Can anyone shed some light on this?
-
i can assure you i will not be making that mistake again, figured id give it a try since the ground was wet.

Well, I just had my first skirmish and absolutely obliterated my knee by sliding on rough concrete and ripped right through my trousers, going again sunday
