  1. Yeah, it's either go without Airsoft and get the Gun quicker, Or spend a bunch on hires and take longer to get the gun. I could go Pistol only, but at my local site it's not such a good idea (It's an old Airfield)
  2. Well, I went searching for Competitors to the G&G CM16, Anything cheap enough doesn't tend to be a Design I'm fond of (Since that would be either WWII, or British) But I've found a few that would perhaps be preferable to the M16. Namely the G&G MP5 (Which I like with the EBB) and the CYMA M14 AEG. Both are designs I prefer to the M16, But neither are as Practical; The MP5 has no rails, The M14 only has a Sight rail, no Torch. What ever the case perhaps I could get the L86 then a Cheaper backup? Depends how I feel when I have £130, I'll decide then If it's worth getting one of these.
  3. Well, Budgets more just a matter of time than anything else, If I've got something to save for then I'll work my ass of for it until I have exactly what I planned to get, But for that to be the case I need to know what I'm gonna look forward to getting! And as far as the Sten goes, I've basically ruled that out already. It's just between the other two now, And I still can't decide. As far as I've gathered, The CM16 is best for performance, and basically everything, But the L86A2 Carbine Is just sooooooooo awesome. I think I'd be willing to sacrifice a little performance for that. But, it is over 2x more so I'm still in two minds. All I can do is keep narrowing it down.
  4. -Chose to look at other G&G M4s- So, I've been making various posts about different AEG Starter Rifles, And From all the feed back I've got It's come down to Three designs. I'm going to list all the pros and Cons from my Point of view, and Put it down to a Vote. It doesn't mean I'll get the one that's voted, I may change my mind by the time I get enough money, I've changed my mind enough as it it. But the ones I keep going back and forth from are these Three; AGM Sten Mk.II AEG -Pros Very nice WWII Design Full Metal Body Cheap Mags Small £150 (Average price) Simple AEG Good Range / Accuracy Real Cap Mag -Cons Only Full auto Hard to access Battery Uncomfortable Grip Hard To Hold Large mag, Not many cheap Pouches Over all, I will eventually get this anyway, as I plan to get a WWII British Infantry and Paratrooper Getup, It's just not very practical or Ergonomic for a first gun. G&G CM16 Raider-L AEG -Pros Very Practical and Ergonomic Semi/Full auto selector £120 High Cap Mag Highly recommended by, well, Everyone. Great backup gun -Cons I don't like M16s It'll set me back £120 that I could put towards a gun I like more Not many others... I just mainly really don't like M16s ICS L86A2 Carbine AEG -Pros AEG High Cap Mag Short version, good for CQB People say L85s often are uncomfortable, But Imagining it, If anything I think I'd like it more. But can't tell until I've tried one (May see if I can test someone else's) Well, It's British. Full/Semi auto Cheap Mags -Cons £270 No rails for my Table Lamp. Sight rail is 19mm Doesn't come with Battery Overall, the L85 Is one of my all time Favorite guns, and I really like this AEG, But I've not decided on just this because of people's recommendations, and Because I don't want to get a Gun I won't like, especially for £270. I hope that I'll be joining you guys on the Battle Field soon, And I hope some people who are looking at these guns perhaps find my pros and cons useful I'd welcome opinions, and recommendations.
  5. Turns out there was one place that Could've gotten stuck in the Mag, I hadn't considered that the second time it jammed differently, it fired it instead of getting stuck with the BBs. I just noticed it was missing off of my Speed loader! XD What a Coincidence that it fit the nozzle! So it never was in the gun, fell off during loading.
  6. What is a DMR Btw? I read Designated Marksman Rifle, but I'm not really sure why they're not allowed?
  7. I suggested it too I may post a review if I find the time, It'll be my first game too I'm planning on taking a printed aerial picture with me, gonna draw out all the sectors and zones etc.
  8. You Can Never have too much planning :Phttp://i.imgur.com/L7uF9Er.png

Well, I found a better stock, But the Hand grip isn't right. Not too bothered though, Might get that instead of a Sten. Not sure yet, I'll decide after I have enough money for either

  9. Well, They said 'Affordable' on the FB Post, but that could mean anything. https://www.facebook.com/redwolfairsoft/photos/a.56852898949.64773.17117533949/10153873976503950/?type=3&theater
  10. http://www.swindonairsoft.co.uk/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=229 The Website is rubbish, but the site looks really good. Not sure if its within your travel distance. I'll be there, But I'm a noob and don't like talking to new people...
  11. Well, I won't have enough for a Shoot N' Scoot until this is out anyway, I'll decide which I get closer to the time. Very cool though How much do you think? Found some more info, still don't know if it's going to be affordable, but looks nice none the less. - the prototype was made on VSR-10 design, so the overall dimensions are shifted to fit it, they did not know that L-96/MP-001 is somewat better to start from, with smaller bolt diameter - back sight will be replaced with more common adjustable model - hop-up chamber will fit VSR-type rubber, but of RWA manufacture (slightly smaller in inner diameter) - RWA office in the UK is currently holding a discussion with English weapon's specialists, trying to improve the design according to actual de-activated Enfields. No information whether the prototype rifle was also shipped to UK for inspection - no information on magazine - aluminium body is being considered. Surely not a steel, but they DO try to move from aluminium alloys to get it more durable.
  12. Very useful links, thanks I Also noticed you have a Lee Enfield, Where on earth did you find an Airsoft one of those! I found some modified ones, but they look like they'd be a bit dodgy performance and mechanics wise: http://www.shootandscoot.co.uk/shop/lee-enfield-no-4/
  13. Yeah, I'd get a British Infantry uniform if anything, I've found where to get it from, But I'm not gonna get it for a while. Gonna get the guns first, I just like the sten and thought I'd rather get it than get a G&G and then eventually a Sten. The main bits, You get the idea: http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/1940-bd-battle-dress-jacket-product,3186 http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/ww1-british-mk1-brodie-helmet-product,13900 P.S Nice reflection
  14. Thanks, They really should've glued it on!
  15. Well then, I stand corrected! That's quite a cool getup actually, isn't really worth getting a snow one in the UK of course.
  16. Yeah, Although not seem many bright white guns!
  17. Yeah, Videos are your friend, Never buy a gun you haven't seen in action. And my whole opinion on ICS Is based on one video, so Don't trust me (The Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RdSzRCeqXM&index=11&list=PLIOKEwUpTbjq_eBjiOc65q-NjqGIosoI2 )
  18. I have made a ridiculous amount of posts, but I felt this was important. I recently found a Small rubber ring jammed in my G23's Mag, I looked at all the places it could be, it fit perfectly around the Thingy that picks up the BBs, Which I assumed was to create a gas seal with the Hop up unit. However, It recently jammed again and fired the Seal. Which is bad. because I was shooting at a hedge. So there's no way I'm getting it back, but it doesn't seem to have affected the gun, it still appears to work fine. I don't have a Chrono so I don't know if it's firing at lower FPS. I can only assume that if they put a part in the gun, it was necessary, So I'm wondering if anyone knows what it is and if I need it. It goes here: I appreciate I've been making a lot of question posts, and The majority of them noob mistakes, But this time I think this is a Topic worthy of posting.
  19. Yeah, when I buy one I pay them, then they buy it, That's what you mean?
  20. Well, I couldn't say specifics since I've never handled any of them, But I've had Glowing recommendations of G&G CM's. From what I've seen ICS Are also very good though, But more pro guns than starters. Depends how much your willing to spend, Airsoft isn't something you can do on a Budget. (I'm hoping to get a AMG Sten Mk.II, then an ICS L85A2 Carbine)
  21. I looked through, and I noticed Blue isn't in the Colour list, I'm assuming it's an acceptable colour? Sucks about that Bill though, Didn't realise it was such a big limitation.

    KJW Sig P226 Markings

Well, The Grip is slightly different, other than that not much. I just prefer the E1. Partially because of the Grip partially because it's used by NCIS :3 E1: E2:

    KJW Sig P226 Markings

Cus they're smexy :3 And I'm not planning on getting this until after a Good AEG, I do plan things like a maniac I have Favorites folders divided into Pistol/Rifle subfolders, then different sites and addons in each folder!
  24. Yep, I'll just have to do some painting when I turn 18
  25. Wow, I'd given up on finding a Good Sten Mk.II, Thank you good sir! Maybe I'll get that before the ICS, It'd certainly be more affordable (Once I get a job that is) How many leaflet deliveries can it take to get £150? XD Hopefully eventually I'll be able to get some WWII British kit, Found some uniforms but I think I'd rather get the guns first. http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/1940-bd-battle-dress-jacket-product,3186 They actually sell the AGM Sten on that site too, just noticed.
