Good video. Do not agree with the second player not taking the hit(s), although they claymore would be more impressive it had a very loud audible explosion/horn/siren when it was set off so that there was a clear indication of detonation.

I assume that Ebay is not worried by the loss of profit from sales to airsofters. It takes a fee from the seller for listing an item regardless of the item being sold. I am sure that removing key words will put people off buying from Ebay; for example looking for a sling specific to MP5 and then only being able to type in the word sling and getting thousands of hits on random categories including baby, camera, and crafts. I normally search both Ebay and Amazon to get a better selection of goods, as well as other retailers. On the plus side there are many sellers that just list a string of keywords to get you to look at their product even if not relevant.

Does anyone actually own an Umarex (VFC) H&K MP5 Navy GBB ? It would be interesting to hear from someone who has one of these who can talk authoritatively about its characteristics, pros and cons. What fps does it generally fire a 0.2 bb, as it could be hot (i.e. over 350 fps) and if so can it be easily reduced to a safer CQB 328 fps? Also what temperature range can it operate at without having difficulty working? Can it be used outside in British Spring and autumn temperatures at 10 degrees C? Appreciate that temperate effects the power output of gas. Having used the real steel version (MP5 A3 & MP5K) I am keen to have a more realistic experience with recoil, weight, and limited milsim magazine capacity. YouTube makes it look wonderful, and the anti GBB posts bad, so it would be much better to get some straight facts from an owner. At about £400 it is an affordable price, however, not worth the money if the fps is too high and it does not work most the year or is unreliable.

My heart is definitely tempted by those models which closest resemble the real steel versions, hence the VFC Umarex brand but I have not read anything positive on this forum about GBB rifles. I actually like the idea of a more realistic low-cap milsim magazine, and would rather pay for a quality product but as pointed out not waste it purely for licenced trademarks. My head tells me to buy an AEG (with recoil?). I still want either the HK416 or MP5 so need to do more research on the different brands and versions at 330fps. Will now definitely check out the G&G range.

Hi all, I am new to airsoft having only recently been introduced to the sport. So far I have only played one game, down in the UCAP Bunker, where I was a magnet to BBs. Looking forward to going back there but with a decent torch next time. Still doing research on a suitable primary weapon (once I am allowed to purchase a RIF) and think that I need something which favours the CQB environment. The Umarex brand H&K 416 and MP5 look great, with good reviews on You Tube, although many appear to have a fps rating that is too high for most UK sites. Expecting to pay about £400 for the weapon and £100 for extra magazines/battery/gas. No idea of which pistol to get, although preference is for a Sig P226. No doubt lots of newb questions to follow
