Description
For sale is a WE based GBB M4 that I have put back together through parts that I sourced as new. The gun also goes beyond stock performance through upgrades that I have fitted. Externally, it is excellent; almost like new. There are, however, a few scratches here and there from assembly and testing which couldn't be avoided.
Original parts:
- 416 style lower
- WE M4 upper
- WE M4 stock assembly
- WE M4 outer barrel assembly
- Noveske-style RIS rail (unknown brand)
Refurbished & Retrofitted parts:
- Maple Leaf 370mm 6.04 Crazy Jet barrel
- Maple Leaf 60 degree Autobot bucking
- Ergo GBB M4 grip that has been trimmed to fit
- New dust cover
- New 1x WE M4 GBB mag
- New WE M4 bolt + nozzle
- New dummy forward release
The Maple Leaf barrel and bucking allow the gun to shoot much further and accurately compared to stock. I do not know the brand of the RIS rail. However: it is unscratched, very sturdy, and secured tightly with Prometheus barrel nut shims.
Here is a short test fire:
This gun currently chronos at around 380 fps with a 0.25g. Therefore, an NPAS is needed for close range use at most sites.
There are two issues: the selector is a bit loose, and the dust cover does not close very well. The selector still functions fine and holds its position. However, the pin and spring that gives it a crisp click is lost and replaced with a weaker one. The dust cover is one that does not close very well and is not secured with a c-clip as there isn't sufficient space to fit one. It does, however, still remain in position when firing.
