Chev Chelios Posted Monday at 20:10 Posted Monday at 20:10 Sling swivel and stock attachment by these guys https://www.tech10tactical.com/product-page/lmt-swinger-pack price is reasonable but shipping and Brownell's is about the same money again so was wondering anyone seen a replica kicking about? Ta very much. Tackle 1
BigAl Posted Monday at 20:14 Posted Monday at 20:14 Unlikely. not well enough nows or used by the cool dudes. Sure some clever person could knock something similar up. Chev Chelios 1
Supporters TheFull9 Posted 9 hours ago Supporters Posted 9 hours ago I remember stumbling on this a while back when checking out their Spitfire sling attachment, but personally decided I'd never use such a setup for a sling and I'd say there's a reason it isn't popular out there. That aside, I'm assuming from a quick look at your profile that you'd use it with a real stock, so that part would hold up (for a while at least), but I'd be suspect of the other airsoft parts of 99% of replicas holding up to the weird leverage forces if you ever run it as a 1-pt. If you have found a real life pic you want to replicate for the funsies then fair enough obviously, but I'd say that lower receiver end plates with QD sockets/normal side-of-stock QDs are infinitely more popular for a reason. Thanks for the reply. I tried a mates check riser, liked it so ended up getting one. I like to have my sling points as fare apart as possible, have it on the right hand side of the stock and left of the rail. The issue I am having is the sling now gets in the way when shouldering so wanted something to move it forward out the way but still attached to the stock. What exactly screams "gear queer" in my profile?
