Cyma M14 stock removal

Has anyone got a video of description of how to best remove the M14 stock?

I hoped it was a couple of simple Allen bolts but it's not, there's some rough videos on YouTube but not very in-depth.

I didn't think a stock removal would stump me🤣

The trigger guard gets pulled down and rotates from the rear of the stock towards the mag well (Think of a swinging motion). This releases the stock from the upper so it can be removed.

Edit: it can be very stiff and require some effort, you need to pull down in the trigger side not the mag well side of the trigger guard.

Thanks for that, does it pull out only the trigger guard?

Are there then bolts to remove which hold the stock and action together?

Nope. It's literally just the trigger guard that holds it all in. You'll need to slide the upper forward to clear the front end of the stock from the end plate by the front sight then angle it all upwards to clear the motor. The battery wires WILL snag inside the stock but that's all part of the joy of owning a Cyma M14!

I am assuming of course that you have one like this:

and not one like this:

Because that's a whole other ball game!

Yep, exactly the same as far as getting the stock off. I have one of each flavour (SOCOM, Standard and EBR) so feel free to ask away!
