DanBow
Not sure what I'm going to put on my gbbr, when it arrives, but is recoil an issue? Do I need real steel optics?
Nick G
I've got a couple of replica 552s and replica T2 on some of my GBBR's . They all work fine and hold zero . DanBow
ButcherBill
I don't use mine often but got into the habit of checking any body screws etc as I clean after a game, they can work loose occasionally. DanBow and Nick G
HuttArmouries
I tend to get aliexpress optics a lot in the sort of mid range and Ive not yet had one damaged by being run on a gbbr but that is obviously partly good luck in the qc lottery. The only optic ive had trouble with was an old cmore like this which lost zero a lot and the battery bounced out of place. All of the others I have used have far more solid mounting solutions. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41yhdJbGKvL.jpg It also depends a lot on the gun. Id feel fairly happy mounting nearly anything on my tokyo marui gbbrs as they have fairly soft impulses overall but Id go for something a bit more solid on my vfc's Edited April 4 by HuttArmouries DanBow
Danhc92 Posted Tuesday at 17:41 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:41 You can pick up second hand vortex strikefire II dot sights quite cheap, the warranty is well worth it as it covers it getting shot out DanBow
Decp369 Posted Wednesday at 13:12 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:12 I’ve always used Ali express or repo ones. Always held around a good zero. End of the day the zero on a Airsoft gun isn’t going to be perfect. with regards to them coming loose, I’d check the screws every few months make sure they are tight or use some lock tight on screws you know won’t be coming off in the future DanBow
GiantKiwi Posted Wednesday at 22:10 Share Posted Wednesday at 22:10 Had something like 10 ACM T1 clones die because of heavier recoil GBBRs? But you do get what you pay for in that regard. Recently swapped to using Vector and Vortex because they will honour warranties, so if something does break, I don't need to fret over it. At the point in my life where i'd rather just buy something decent once than buy it cheap repeatedly. DanBow
