Maligator Posted Saturday at 09:28 Share Posted Saturday at 09:28 Anyone know if GHK have sorted out the QC issues? I'm looking for realism, more to the point getting as close to a 6lb trigger pull as I can. My understanding is best chance of that is with the VFV or the GHK M4 platform. I like the idea of the GHK over the VFC purely down to CO2 capability and it's cerakote finish. Other than that I beleive the 2 are quite comparable on realism, and I'm led to beleive things can be done to get the trigger pull I'm after, even up to putting in an RS trigger group. My concern over the GHK is QC. Everyone points to TM for reliability and performance but not realism, which is why I'm not currently swayed by the MWS at the moment. Thanks for any help

Enid_Puceflange Posted Saturday at 11:37 Share Posted Saturday at 11:37 I currently own two GHK’s An M4 and an SG 553 The M4 runs flawlessly, but…… Its a V1, so probably made back when they were good, unfortunately I’ve never even fired a VFC to be able to compare But watching reviews on YT , if you look for them, you will find faults in both Chev Chelios
Chev Chelios Posted Saturday at 15:31 Share Posted Saturday at 15:31 REF GHK. QC only becomes an issue where you buy. If you buy remotely in this country and get a lemon just send it back. With that said most of the QC issues come with the AK line due to (speculating) the tooling has come to the end of its life. I am a die hard GHK user but if I had to do it all over again today I would go VFC as the refined design beats out GHK with one CAVET, with the way GHK magazine are made (out of one block of metal) they can take the 800 PSI presser of direct filling Co2 (devil hunter mod) into a "green gas" magazine. Using higher PSI propellant means full auto mag dumps, being able to move a heaver recoil system and less weather dependant. Now onto the trigger weight. Both system can easily meet the trigger pull weight you are after with an aftermarket spring or just bodging it by bending the stock one. Now like a real firearm the "bolt" resets the trigger so the stronger the hammer spring the more force is needed to cycle the bolt rearward so you may need to invest in an NPAS, lighter Buffer Spring and Buffer to balance the system TLDR without my ramblings, its a much of a muchness and I think you will be happy with either system.
