Hi all,

 

im currently looking for AEGs/other gear to get back into airsoft. Played from the ages of 16-18 and now 22 looking to play a few times a month. 
 

can anyone advise on the type of gun id need for a massive outdoor skirmish?

Welcome back, to be honest it's not changed much in the 4 years you've been away.

More info is needed if you want the best advice, budget, style of play, cosmetically what you like the look of, even your size & fitness level could be a factor, not gonna recommend an m14 ebr (for example) if your 5ft2 & 8st when wet?

For a AEG, do a lot of research before buying. You can pick up a RIF that will last you for years.

For gear, go cheap (or surplus) at first and find out what does and doesn't work for you (what you need more of and what you need less of) and from here you can work out what you'd like to run in the future before you dedicate serious money into your kit.
