LazzurusMan
This probably a REALLY simple question with a really simple answer, but I can't seem to wrap my head around it. I've managed to calculate my barrel volume using an online calculator as 12280, however there is no unit of measurement given for the answer, I'm assuming it's mm3. My mancraft engine is apparently volume at 6500mm3. That would mean I'm horrifically under volumed, which makes no sense either as the shots are hitting a wheelie bin at 95 meters, with a little luck, most go past but the point is I've got no range issues, just a long range accuracy issue, which I'm guessing is an over volumed barrel. I know I'm missing something, and it's probably me getting confused by unit measurements or something. This is all for a mancraft sdik fitted to an action army t10. Impulse
I feel like Mancraft may be missing a 0 in their description, since they also sell a restrictor that lowers the air volume from "6500mm3" to "4500mm3". 65000mm3 and 45000mm3 would make a lot more sense, especially if you're seeing no range issues but seeing accuracy issues, as that would likely be overvolumed. My SRS has 41000mm3 and that's considered a high volume for a spring gun, but HPA are capable of higher volume than spring. Doing a rough calculation with 65000mm3, even with a widebore 6.23 barrel and .48s to get the highest air volume necessary, you'd still be looking at roughly a 650mm inner barrel, which I'm guessing you don't have and would explain why you're very overvolumed. The_Lord_Poncho
Do you think that your accuracy issues are due to the over-voluming? I have a number of AEGs which are theoretically over volumed, and an M4 with a mancraft gen 2 that is somewhat over volumed, and all are pretty accurate (in fact, I'd venture the Mancraft is the most accurate that I own). Might it be a barrel or hop issue, or even something as simple as clipping some errant foam in a suppressor?
