Nilxo12 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 I use propane for my mws and plan on using propane aswell for the mp7 as i dont see the point having two different gas if they both can take it. MP7 is shooting relatively hot 1.14j (1joule limit) most npas i see are for VFC or KWA, is there anyway of reducing the fps on a TM MP7? I was wondering if trimming the rocket valve spring would help?
you can`t shoot me Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 My standard tm mp7 will fire over 1j with 0.28g on any green gas or abbey ultra, i have even had it fire over 1j on abbey 144a on hot days. Cutting down the rocket valve spring will lower the fps, there is a older post on these forums in the gas guns section called tm mp7 maintenance and tinkering which has a link on the 2nd page to springs you can buy on amazon that will fit the rocket valve rather than cutting down the orginal spring.
CrackCommandoUnit1972 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Try using Nuprol 1.0 gas before you start butchering your lovely rif. It has a lower PSI than your standard green gas.
