Turtles Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 So i have a g&g gun with their standard mosfet, I believe that it has shorted itself when an exposed wire made contact with the metal body. When I plug a battery into it, the gun doesn't fire at all and the mosfet gets really really hot, as if its burning your finger. I unplugged the mosfet from the rest of the wires and connected the remaining wires to the battery, the gun works and fires, but just constantly stays in full auto, cant control whatsoever, probably cuz of the etu. Is it safe to assume that the mosfet is dead so i can drop in an upgraded one?
Ebeneezer Goode Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Yep, sounds like MOSFET is pumped. Should be fairly easy to get to replacement.
strykerles Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 if you can, get the perun model model made as an upgrade for the G&G
Turtles Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 Yeah i’ve just ordered a perun, heard alot of raving reviews on it. Excited to see the difference
strykerles Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 I did it with my RK-74 and it seemed more responsive and definetly more reliable
