So i have a g&g gun with their standard mosfet, I believe that it has shorted itself when an exposed wire made contact with the metal body. When I plug a battery into it, the gun doesn't fire at all and the mosfet gets really really hot, as if its burning your finger. I unplugged the mosfet from the rest of the wires and connected the remaining wires to the battery, the gun works and fires, but just constantly stays in full auto, cant control whatsoever, probably cuz of the etu. Is it safe to assume that the mosfet is dead so i can drop in an upgraded one?

Yep, sounds like MOSFET is pumped.

Should be fairly easy to get to replacement.

I did it with my RK-74 and it seemed more responsive and definetly more reliable
