CO2 Mags for my GHK M4...... how do I fill them ??

Guys total Noob question, I bought a GHK Mk18 for a guy on here who has been very helpful, but I assumed the gun ran on green gas. After a few attempts to shoot it its clear green gas downs do anything but vent from the gun.

 

I contacted J the previous owner and he patiently explained the mags run on CO2, and uses soda stream bottles to fill them....

 

But have no idea what adaptor valves and stuff I need to buy to get this cool gun running again....

 

I figure I can go CO2 12g mini bottles or soda stream but what should I buy to actually get the gas into the mags ?? 

 

I was looking at the Mad Bull CO2 charger but it says its not for use on GBB mags....?? So hence I am confused !!

Sounds like your magazines have been devilhunter modded, essentially taking the standard green gas mags and switching to CO2 fill and knocker valves allowing you to use liquid CO2 in the magazines. It's a pretty common mod for GHK magazines, give it a google or join the GHK owners group on Facebook and you'll be able to search for the info you need (I only know what I've read on the net). As far as I'm aware you can get the Madbull CO2 charger and use that to fill the magazines, either by using the prefilled cartridges, or a paintball tank filled with CO2. Again I'm not 100% on that so do your own research to be sure.

The madbull charger is good but you only need the top bit and will only fit a Co2 "Paintball Tank", if you use it with the reg it will not let liquid Co2 into the magazine and instead of getting 350 + shots off on one fill you will get like 20.

If Co2 seems to much to sort out loads of people have done the "DH mod" and have GG valves kicking around so a wanted add on here or as Shaydee says the Facebook group should get you some for a good deal. https://samoon.com.tw/ has everything you need spares wise, shipping is around $30 US but only takes about 4-8 days to arrive from Taiwan.

Its basically HPA without the tank and hose, but the best thing is it lets you keep the control manipulation the same. I can mag dump a direct filled Co2 mag 3 times with snow on the ground with 0 ROF cool downs. Only reason to pick a GHK over a TM (unless you have a real hard on for trigger feel) 

 

You can also run them on anything using the WA style system such as VFC, G&P ETC by adjusting the valves knocker (just filing it down a bit).
