emilianoksa
Recently put a Guarder Tanio Koba tactical grip on my TM 5.1. If you do this I advise you to ditch the hammer spring that comes with the Guarder and use the TM one. The former is much too strong and will stop the slide from going back fully and locking after the last bb has been fired. I have encountered one other problem with mine. It fits, looks good and cycles fine. However if I put a tiny bit more pressure on the trigger without pressing down on the backstrap safety it will still fire. This is a serious safety issue. I am assuming it has to do with the leaf spring, and hoping that it can be cured by bending said spring slightly. Or do I need to tighten or loosen the screw on the adjustable the trigger ? Could anyone kindly confirm or advise?
38super
The grip safety is a simple block against the trigger stirrup. It sounds like it isn't moving or engaging properly. If it's working properly the stirrup won't be able to hit the sear. Check that the tab on the grip safety is blocking the trigger stirrup when you aren't gripping it. To be honest most competition shooters remove or pin the grip safety. It isn't a big deal as long as the frame safety functions correctly. Finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot is the best safety. The screw on the trigger is only overtravel adjustment to limit trigger movement after it's tripped the sear.
