MagpieTactical
So i purchased a Nuprol Bocca Series One rail. It arrived today but i cant fit it. The problem being is that the qd studs are protruding on the inside of the rail, stopping it sliding over the barrel nut. Does anyone know how to cure this, can they be removed or backed out a little? Or is it a case of sending the rail back?
Chev Chelios
Hit it with a Dremel cut off disk, failing that a file will take care of it. If it was me I would send it back though it looks total bollox.
Supporters Lozart Posted August 6, 2020 Supporters Share Posted August 6, 2020 Push a QD sling loop into it and see if the bottom of it protrudes as far as the insert in the rail. If it does then it's sticking in because it's been pushed in too far so it needs sending back . If the sling loop stays clear of the body of the rail (ie not all the way into the insert) then you can either send it back because it's shit and wrong OR file the insert down flush with the rail. Personally I'd be wanting it replaced.
