Groot
Hello, So I have just ordered my new hop and such for my Gspec. By the end of the week, it will be mostly in its final form. ( bar when i have to replace the trigger ) It is now running hot with a 170 spring. I expect once I have the new hop and sorted all the sealing, I will need to shave between 20-40 fps off the power. ( I am going to talk in FPS as i can visualise that better than Joules ) Obviously, I will need a 150 or 160 spring but I could equally just cut a little off the 170. So here lies my question. Will a shaved spring be any less consistent than a full spring? My logical brain says it shouldn't, because it will be under the same pressure and return back to the same size. However this is airsoft and often science doesn't seem to apply.

Steveocee
Erm.... Can you run APS2 springs? If so just drop in a Rapax 2J and don't worry about consistency ever again.
