i am still getting around 280 fps with an sp110 spring in my ics m4

i have changed the cylinderhead

fitted an ak long nozzle and new o ring in original piston.

would it be worth getting a new piston and head to see better results or is there anything else i should be checking?

What FPS were you getting before you changed things?  If it was better then some of the parts may not be optimal for your rifle, or could be causing an air leak. Check what you have before possibly spending money on parts you may not need.

Update:

I have Teflon'd the bucking to rule that out and im getting around 330fps now

Changing the subject The original hop up unit is plastic with the spring on top, the end is very slightly cracked i fear if i put to much pressure on it i will just break. been searching around online but cant seem to find if the new metal ics ones will fit with the spring being on the barrel ?

I replaced the plastic one on my CXP15 with a metal one. Alternatively you can get one of the Maxxmodel ones.

What the metal or plastic one?

So turns out when replacing the old plastic hop with the new metal one you need to clip down the new barrel spring rather a lot in order to fit.
