Gear Box Wont Close Due to Tappet Plate, Help!

Hey so as you can see in the title my gearbox wont close due to the tappet plate, it wont stay in place when closing

anyone have any tips or help? thank you

There's a sweet spot on the sector gear where the tappet plate isn't engaged.

Look on the sector gear and put the bit that pulls on the tappet plate at about 3 o'clock. In that position, the tappet plate should be at it's most neutral.

Also press the nozzle in once as this sometimes helps the tappet to fall in to the rails once the 2 halfs are nearly fully closed

@johnnyj . @Iceni Thanks for the help, turns out the Tappet didnt have the grooves at the front, dremmeled it and now it works perfectly
