Huxley
Ok whoever thought having a tiny spring pushing on the mag to keep in place should be shot. Anyone know of a fix or workaround Guy sold me a velcro mag strap, but it's far from ideal.
Supporters Prisce Posted September 4, 2018 Supporters Share Posted September 4, 2018 Yes, nice and easy. 2 strips of elastic. Make an Underpants shape with them, make the bit that goes around the grip tight, and the bit under the mag a little looser. Changing mags is a little slower, but you don’t lose mags, and they don’t tend to get loose either.
Huxley
Cheers, I have something similar already from a guy on site who has a bunch. I'll try getting some sugru and fit a stronger spring perhaps.
Huxley
Found a fix for mk23 clones. Double tap designs have a mag retention device, but they don't sell it on site. After a few words he's printing a couple, how's that for service.
Windyedges
can we have more pix on this to see how its done maybe lol what I did last night and it worked was drill a small hole to the front of the grip, tie a knote in some elastic that sits inside the mag well pulled through the hole over the mag and tied into the hole at the back of the pistol grip, again slows loading and reloading BUT didnt loose a mag today, I have even filed a little groove in the front of the mag to keep the elastic from slipping round
