Hello,

I have a nuprol lipo l3 balance charger and a 7,4 v lipo Battery When I try to charge it cel 3 is green en cel 1 and 2 are flashing in red, what does this mean. And the charger gets very hot after only a few minutes of charging. Hope someone can help me.

Cell 3 is green coz you don't have a 3rd cell like on 11.1v

7.4v's have only two cells hence 1 & 2 red

maybe the cells have dropped voltage below 3v limit and why it is failing ???

Long story short - $hit charger rebranded with Nuprol charging you top money for a sticker

Get a Genuine iMax B6charger and just be done with it

search out recent posts over last week or so

ring a place like component shop to seek further assistance and any leads to charge small tamiya

(if you are still using these connectors than upgradedto deans)

The B3 type chargers - are very hit n miss - if they say Nuprol then more miss than hit

Nuprol take numerous stuff - whacks on NUPROL and charges you £10 more

sometimes the stuff is OK - rebrand SHS bits, other times like chargers - well not so great/$HIT

Search the forum for Nuprol l3 chargers and you’ll see in the last few weeks 2 others have had the same issue. The chargers are crap, as @Sitting Duck has stated, save yourself time and hassle, as well as potential money and get a Genuine IMAX B6 AC from HobbyKing.
