If you had used BBs then maybe the cylinder-barrel ratio could also be heard. If it sounds the same then the cylinder is overvolumed. If the sound is softer, deeper then it's good. It's a v3 but still, no gun likes to dry fire especially with high rof and don't forget to release the tension with single shots before putting it to safe, if there is no spring tension release mechanism on it.
