Albiscuit
Now I may be paranoid, but I had never noticed this before..... I had some work done on a Combat machine and since getting it back the actual grip of the gun is magnetic!!.. I was stripping it last night to reattach a wire and noticed the punch I use to knock out the pins had stuck to the grip. I am assuming the electromagnetic properties from the motor are really strong and causing this but not sure if its an issue or not. Is this normal? Supporters Sitting Duck Posted March 3, 2017 Supporters Share Posted March 3, 2017 neodym magnet motors really draw stuff to them std ferrite magnets in stock motors are lame - especially the 18k G&G the powerful blue motor - hmmm weird one, deffo stronger 25k about the same speed as shs torque but not as strong.... deffo stronger than lamer ferrite but no way like a crazy neodym even neodyms vary in the strength of their magnets some others are damn strong to pull apart from another same motor you have to twist them apart my guess you popped in a more mofo neodym motor like a shs it is fine, nowt to worry about unless the kitchen knives & forks start flying at you nah - you'll be fine - just shows you how lame the stock motor's magnets were
