Sacarathe
I had a few on a list, but I lost it when my pc was mysteriously wiped. I just put down an order for a few parts, gearing up to a HPA set up. Just need a hand pump before I can pull the trigger on the expensive parts - not likely to run above 13/26 CI.
Root Admin proffrink Posted July 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted July 5, 2016 The reg is more important than the bottle, but for low-flow use like airsoft frankly most are fine. I buy/have bought Ninja and Guerrilla (mostly because Ninja is impossible to find here) and fit Ninja Pro V2 tank regs to them as the Myth G3 isn't quite as good. Again, I should stress this doesn't matter much for electric solenoids or converted GBBRs. Tank regs and flow really only matter in super high RoF builds or something like a Daytona Gun, Escort or Sun Project. Guerrilla make a decent 13ci bottles, and their tank reg is pretty reliable with well machined threads that aren't going to damage your ASA. I'd just stick with them for ease. Two weeks ago I'd have told you to look at somewhere like HPAirsoft or various EU companies for a good price, but I'm not sure whether that's cost effective anymore. I've not chosen a regulator at this time, I had also noted the lack of availability of many of the bottles. Likely I'll be buying from beesting airsoft but I will probably just get whichever they recommend. In terms of price all the regulators are similar and that makes it easy to, once known, just buy the best one. Though until I have a pumping solution worked out, I wont be able to move forward - I'm happy to fill from dive stores, but not long term, and certainly not on 3kpsi tanks. Root Admin proffrink Posted July 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted July 5, 2016 Sorry, I read the title as 'which bottles are best/cheapest/popular'. As far as the pump goes, I've only had one so can only offer a single opinion, but the one I bought from AliExpress was good (or as good as I think it gets from seeing other posts about hand pumps) - basically an unbranded version of a £250-300 one that comes from the same factory. They did an updated version that's allegedly even better. I will dig up a link and edit. I occasionally fill my 88/4500s using it, but it takes about 60 minutes spread out across a week in 10 minute sessions. It's extremely hard work when you go over 3k, and frankly going any longer than 2 minutes at a time is going to be really bad for ones back. Basically, it can be done. It's a PITA, but it can be done. It suits me because I don't play a lot, but if you're playing more than once a month you're going to do yourself back damage. Again though, if you're using smaller tanks you'll be fine I'd imagine. Unfortunately I'm going on holiday shortly, so I won't be able to buy the HPA system for a few weeks. Still torn by all the choices, though FEv2 is leading atm. Shortly trailed by some stupid (F1) HPA P90 fantasy. It looks like Beesting don't have Ninja, is it worth going elsewhere for that?
Root Admin proffrink Posted July 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted July 5, 2016 You'll struggle to find Ninja in the EU. HPAirsoft do Guerrilla cheap though.
