rockhardopperator
The hammer on my secondhand p226 is light striking. Should I bother with a new hammer spring it will it prevent the gun from cycling? if it doesn't, does anyone know where you can get a replacement as KWA don't seem to stock one? Many thanks. Root Admin proffrink Posted June 2, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted June 2, 2016 Allegedly the TM-compatible 1911 150% hammer springs are also compatible with the KWA P226s, so I'd pick one of those up. http://www.rainbow8.com/collections/capa-meu-1911-series/products/enhanced-recoil-hammer-spring-for-marui-kj-meu-m1911-150 If you're getting light strikes then a 150% hammer spring will certainly solve your issue, but obviously your hammer will wear faster.
