WE Hi-Capa Dragon Problems

Hi all, I have a WE 5.1 Hi-Capa Dragon with a fault. When I fire the gun the first bb fires but then it only goes about a cm back on the blow back and proceeds to empty all the gas out the barrel. The magazine isnt the issue its been checked all good so any thoughts?

Ive tried replacing the piston head, piston housing and loading nozzle and loading nozzle spring

is it oiled and moving freely? does it dry fire correctly?

its oiled up and moves freely and i havnt tried to dry fire it since ive had the problem

the only time i have had something like this, with my dragon was when it was low on gas or the temperature was really low ... but not on the first shot

 

i know you said its not the mag, but was it tested in another gun? did that gun cycle fine?

No i havnt tested it in another gun i dont have access to another one however i have tried a different mag in the gun and it does the same thing

is the slide retaining pin in place?? (stupid question i know)

yes it is

is it emptying all the gas out of the barrel? If so it sounds like it could be an issue with the 3way valve in the nozzle not closing.

 

it should look some thing like parts 21, 22, and 23, from page 14 of this manual http://manual.weairsoft.com/GBB-Pistol/HI-CAPA-5.1.pdf

yes it comes out the barrel and i will have a look at those parts
