shaun_ccxr
Hi As topic I would like to import a RIF from the US and I read some topics and people said I need to include my ukara details with the order. How exactly can I do it? Do I include the details such as player number, name, address etc in the box or outside the box or alternatives to let the customs see? Or phoning the custom departments? Any help will be great thanks
Supporters jcheeseright Posted March 11, 2014 Supporters Share Posted March 11, 2014 get them to put your UKARA number on the box in BIG letters, expect it to get held in customs while they verify it (could take a few weeks). You're gonna pay a premium importing from the states though, why not buy from asia instead? All the American guns; Echo1 etc are just rebrands of asian guns anyway. shaun_ccxr
So if I buy from asia I won't need to pay the premium tax? I'm basically looking for a dark earth tar21. All of them are out of stock currently within the uk
Spatch
You may experience similar problems with customs when importing from anywhere out side the uk and I would also read up heavily on TAR21's as they are pretty much all notorious for being crap, the rod trigger system they all use is shocking, never seen one last any length of time
shaun_ccxr
I know the problems with the tar but I m just in live with this gun just like I so with the scar. I just want it for look n I would somehow upgrade the internals
Spatch
The internals are not the major problem, upgrading the trigger system isn't really a possibility mate, there are plenty of other bullpup rifle that are far far better than a tavor, consider it before spending your hard earned on something that we all know WILL go wrong, parts are a git to get hold of for and that in a couple of months you'll be wishing you'd never seen
shaun_ccxr
I quite like the Aug as well but it is pitty that they don't take m4 mags.
