seaneeng6
My friend recently flopped onto his gun, and in the process snapped the damn thing in two. (lower receiver, and stock, also sent the spring guide and spring out of the back of the gear box, i have a spear shell lying around so that's no problem) So i said to him let me have a look at it, i have a spare body lying around and ill see what i can do. So i have put my lower receiver onto his upper and it sits a little above where it should, would this cause any problems with the gearbox and barrel. If so any fixes? (look at pictures) Do not worry i know it says gas blow back, but it was a G&G cm16 raider, and it had a aeg GHK gbb conversion kit in it.(BTW im selling the Conversion kit, and 3 gas mags plus propane with adapter, msg me if you are interested)

Supporters jcheeseright Posted January 12, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 12, 2014 mill out one of the holes, but then it'll rattle. My advice; get a new receiver set with both halves.

Supporters jcheeseright Posted January 12, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 12, 2014 probably, it'd be a weak fix though and you'd have to be some kind of filler ninja to get it exactly right.

Supporters jcheeseright Posted January 12, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 12, 2014 outside of widening the hole and using filler no, you've got a bit of a square peg round hole situation on the go. The receivers are clearly from different manufacturers and are made to different specifications.
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 13, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 13, 2014 I think your main proble would be getting BB's to feed from the mag to the hop properly - as in, as is it just wouldn't happen.
