So I just registered on Gunstar because I was so outraged by the price of something that I had to email the seller to set them straight. I've glanced at the site before and wasn't impressed, but today I followed a link from Dogpile (the search engine of champions) and somehow, perhaps I began by feeling more patient or something, I found myself browsing...

It's as if there's a dialogue box that pops up when you place an ad:

...I'm tellin ya, they're avin a laff!

I have been selling on Gunstar for a while mate, and I have never seen a message like this when I've placed an ad, it may be the browser you're using. The only real trouble I had with Gunstar regarding browser use, was that Chrome was not supported by their website code, hence you could never place an ad or go to your account.

They have had a recent makeover, at the moment, I'm in two minds weather I like it to be honest.

But yes I've also seen some of the silly prices there, but it's their choice I guess, you don't have to buy.

Yeah, about 20mins worth of Paint... and most of that was setting my custom colour palette.

I spose that in the back of my mind I was channelling Mac OS 9, and naturally, being Mac OS, selecting "No" & "x2" or "x3" would simply not be an option...

hm... you're on a genuine USSR issue computer? impressive..

Worth every minute and more for this comment    well said, sir! I tip my hat to you :)

I have enjoyed every bit of this thread!

I had a little float around on Gunstar while searching for a P90 lower receiver, rare as rocking horse sh1 it seems. It's odd that a craigslist-esque community sales forum would have such unreasonable prices across the board. Perhaps it's that they outpriced themselves out of the savvier markets and went to Gunstar in hopes of catching the less wary, those getting into the sport or those that don't actually research or learn about their hobby.
