AK47frizzle
Beyond six months it is up to you to prove that the fault was there or has developed since even if it has taken up till now to become apparent. This means you may need to prove that the fault is not down to normal wear and tear or damage you caused and that the product or a component of the product should have lasted longer than it did. learnt that
ScoobySnacks
The "beyond six months" thing isn't really set in stone though. It's what would be considered a reasonable time, by a reasonable person. For instance if I buy a cheap pair of shoes, and the soles fall off after six weeks, that might be considered a "reasonable time" whereas if I pay through the nose for a pair of high tech Nikes and those soles fall off in six weeks, I'd say that's NOT a reasonable time.
