There's loads of different places to buy airsoft guns and gear out there now, some and good and some are bad. In your opinion, what is the best place to buy stuff from and why? Additionally, is there anywhere I should avoid?

For me, I've been buying from JustBBGuns up until now because the website is very nicely laid out and has high quality pictures so I know exactly what I'm getting, plus some of them have videos, even though the videos kind of suck I get to see it a bit more. I've not had any problems with them myself yet, besides a cheap sling that didn't have hooks on it, but after I told them they replaced it no questions asked. But reading these forums it seems that JBBG isn't very well liked, so where should I be going instead, and why?

Have you read the retailer reviews on here under places to buy ?

Personally for anything expensive like a gun Id be tempted to buy from the nearest retailer to you, even if you buy online from them.

At least you can go there if the gun needs warranty work etc.

Once you have a supplier in mind, just google the name and see what comes up,

I bought a rifle from a Scottish retailer and when I googled the name after, I realised that the problems I was having weren't peculiar to me.

I've been fine with them on both occasions when buying guns. But being so far from me I wouldn't like chasing anything up if anything went wrong.

However I do prefer buying from my local store as its easy to purchase, can see what you're getting and when it comes to customer service they are excellent.

Find out who your most local retailer is and have a pop in. Even if they are a few quid more expensive, it might be worth it just to get a better service than some online stores.
