I'm calling a truce and giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Having never used the ban hammer before, I honestly don't know what part of the forum's UI the hammer falls on. So if you're happy to leave without me forcing it on you, then that works fairly well for me.

In fairness though, I wouldn't ban you just for telling me to piss off. Why would I? That's like resorting to violence in an argument because I'm too much of a failure to defeat you with words.

It's petty.

My problem is more to do with the fact that all your topics since you arrived here, have been asking questions along the lines of; "How does an U18 player get a black gun?"

Even when we've explained it to you and given you a completely legitimate answer, you still keep asking the same question but dressing it with different, 'hypothetical' scenarios.

To me, this all adds up and suggests you're looking for holes in the law, in order to exploit them. Which gravely endangers our hobby. I think many of our forum members were beginning to arrive at the same conclusion and thinking you were just trying to wind them up.

You're welcome to stay, but please refrain from asking things without doing any prior research and at least ask all your questions in the same topic, and put the topic in the right section so others can refer to it later if they want to know the answers to the same questions.

Why is this public? I wanted people to see that the ban hammer isn't something we here at AF-UK will jump for in order to solve our problems, because ultimately, it doesn't solve anything.

He did just post a status saying that he'd left, Ed. I don't think he'll see this :/

edit: fair enough (doesn't warrant another post)

I did, but I think Dave deleted it before I had the chance to post this on it.

Good on you Ed for not resorting to straight up banning him. Clearly he is too tough for these forums.
