Simon Rees
OK, technical question for you: I had a repeat of my previous "no firing" issue. Last time, a strip of the Gearbox revealed that it seemed to be a dirty trigger switch issue which resolved after I cleaned it a bit. So on Sunday, mid-skirmish, my gun stopped firing again with the same symptoms. I trudged back to the SZ and stripped the GB down and cleaned the switch as much as I could. That sorted it and it worked for the rest of the day. I assume it is the contacts getting dirty from arcing? So, how to resolve?: 1. Clean and Lube the existing switch with switch grease2. Replace switch3. Fit a MOSFET with braking.4. Combination of 2 of the above5. All of the above 6. Any other bright ideas? Discuss!
Supporters sp00n Posted June 11, 2013 Supporters Share Posted June 11, 2013 what battery? what gun? (if other than your CA M15A4) it may just be a dodgy/worn out switch, i would be tempted to just go with number
Simon Rees
Yep, just the M15A4 It's a 9.6v NiMH. Yeah, I've ordered one. Will also get some switch grease for when I install it. See how it goes. No love for the Mosfets?
Supporters sp00n Posted June 11, 2013 Supporters Share Posted June 11, 2013 With a 9.6v NiMH you *shouldnt* need one. Nothing to stop you though if you wanted to fit one I made one for my mp5k then again I am running a 25c lipo
