G&P M4A1 Battery Problem

Hi, I went out today and my G&P M4A1 suddenly stopped working with an 8.4v 2200mah. I have no idea why, it just did. Apparently it was jammed so I put a 7.4v LiPo on and it worked fine. After that I connected the 8.4v again and still, nothing? I just used the LiPo but that ran out so I had to use 9.6v 1600mah then that ran out too!? I just don't understand why any of that happened. The 8.4v 2200mah lasted me all day a couple of weeks ago without any problems. Just wondering what's wrong and if anyone can help? Thanks

Is the connector ok?

Any broken solider joints? (If its a deans connector)

Yeah everything seems to be fine, its a mini tamiya

Have you tried charging it?

Nope, nothing. I tried a few different 8.4s at my site and none seemed to work, so charging can't be the problem

Dosn't sound good mate, if it was fine and now you need more power (voltage) to crank over.

How old is the gun?

 

Sounds like something is either braking down or wearing out any odd noises/smells etc?

Sounds very similar to my G&P M16. Will only work on high mAh batteries for some reason.

The gun is 3 weeks old, no signs of anything, it didn't even make a noise
