qyuubi786 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 I always wanted to re-enact the metal gear solid 3 story in airsoft. Not the whole game(that would be unrealistic) but sections of it. For example the Virtuous Mission. One guy plays Naked Snake, and all the rest of us play soldiers guarding Solklov. The guy who plays Snake gets to use camouflage and face paint and us soldiers don't. Then when Naked Snake comes back in operation Snake Eater (we do a night battle type scenario). We can even have the GRU sniper. I'm sure everyone who would do this will be a MGS3 fan. Knows the story. But The person who plays Snake wont run in guns blazing he will take his time. So we have to be cautious like the soldiers are in the game. And no head shots (especially for the guy playing Snake, just body shots. A shot to the chest is instant out and probably 6 shots to the arms and legs. Oh imagine snake against the end. Now that would be exhilarating. It'd be tense as hell for the guy playing Snake, but for everyone else it'd be boring as hell, they'd go looking for him, and what happens when he fails 5 minutes into the game? Also, I think anyone running an event like that who could trust the players to abide by the rules of 1 shot to the chest and 6 to the arms and legs. It just wouldn't work. You could have the idea as a theme and have the objectives based off similar things, but 1 vs everyone with specific hit rules and stuff just won't happen. chris555 Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 better idea would be to have capturing snake as the objective with teams opposing each other this is good for everyone snake stays on the run trying to reach a location that cant be camped at and the other teams will end up shooting each other as they hunt to keep things flowing once snake is captured (shot and taken back to base without being intercepted by enemy team who can capture him on the way back to your base) he is released at the end of the time limit or if he reaches the finish the team with the most captures wins Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
