formula400 Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 hello people, being looking at this for a while now, would like to get involed and have some fun, a few questions 1st 1. why are there 2 tone guns??? 2. i am from wimbledon, south london, where is close-ish for me to go and play. but where can i find out more info??? thanks people
AF-UK Founding Member Deva Posted June 11, 2010 AF-UK Founding Member Posted June 11, 2010 Basically to own an Airsoft gun you have to be over 18. To own one that looks realistic you must gain some form of defence that proves you will be using it for airsoft, if you do not have a defence you can however buy a 2 tone gun, which does not look realistic and therefore is OK. As for skirmish sites: http://www.airsoftmap.net/UK/Skirmish Looks like Epsom would be best for you: http://www.eliteactiongames.com/
formula400 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 cheers for that, going to check the links now
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted June 11, 2010 Supporters Posted June 11, 2010 two tones are for non-UKARA registered players. (or those without a defence from VCRA) as for sites, what dev. said and welcome (also nice to see someone who won't ask which sniper rifle is best... M4's aer sweet)
formula400 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 ok, i want to get some games and time under my belt so i don`t have to go 2 tone, is it hard to get membership??? yeah sod sniper rifles, m4/m733`s rock
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted June 11, 2010 Supporters Posted June 11, 2010 nope, just attend at least 3 games in a time period of no less than two months (1 game a month for 3 months is a popular choice) then as long as you get site membership (usually an annual fee) they give you a form, fill it out and do whatever they tell you to with it. the 3 games can be completed before you are 18, so once you arwe 18 get a form and have epic win.
formula400 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 ok cool, been looking at the epsom one, can`t wait to get involed
