Does anybody know if the raiders rails are metal or plastic?

I have a feeling they are plastic based from the price, Do you think its worth the extra £30 for this upgraded model with metal rails?

Also sorry to be a pain but is it possible to remove the front site to allow for low optics? By remove i mean either dissemble or modify myself

Plastic, without a doubt for that price.

I'd throw in the extra thirty quid to get strong rails if I were you.

1. its plastic

2. dont know any real benefits of metal over plastic other than strength but unless your planning on mounting alot of heavy stuff on it the plastic would do fine, however the more expensive one does have blowback as well so thats another consideration.

3. the cm16 range doesnt come apart, not sure if that goes for the the entire combat machine range though

Thanks for advice, Going to go for the GR15 because of the metal rails & pneumatic blowback.

Is it possible to cut the front sight off and file it down to look normal?

If not i think i might consider this for the same price, But only if it has metal rails and it doesn't state the rail material >_<

cant see any reason you couldnt cut the front sight off other people have.

if it doesnt state the material i think its a fair guess its plastic
