Andy1 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Hi, im new to the forum and have just bought a new secondhand we g39 gbb when i say its second hand im assured its never been skirmished and only ever had about 2-3 mags worth of bbs through it and i have no reason at all to doubt the person whom it came from, the problem i have is that i cannot just put a mag into the gun cock it then fire it ,what i have to do is pull back cocking handle ,hold it, put my finger into the magwell and push a little square block of steel up so it locks the cocking handle back ,then insert a mag release the cocking handle by pushing the button within the trigger guard then i can fire and change mags over with no problem, it just seems to be the first mag in that i have to do it with, im sure that cant be the right way to do it but have tried to work out whats wrong, but with very ltd knowledge of gbb's im just flapping in the wind, any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated thank you all in advance . Ps if i have broken any protocols then i really aplogise ive never been on a forum before

It sounds like the hammer is getting in the way, holding the bolt back holds the hammer back If that hasn't fixed it you will need to replace a spring? or something in the mechbox
